  Finally heard a Dub defend overlapping generations

  since the overlapping generations doctrine was introduced, i have found the jws i know to be uncharacteristically silent on the subject.

  i can't remember hearing a single dub try to defend this idiocy.

  but that all ended recently.

  my parents are visiting for not-thanksgiving.

  dad started bringing up spiritual stuff and i almost screwed up my fade.. it's so hard to have a genuine discussion about the issues in the organization when you have become an atheist.

  it feels icky and disgusting to have to pretend and nod your head at such platitudes as "you just need to have faith"..."trust in jehovah"..."jehovah will correct it"..."remember ray franz?

  Oooooh dang.........pbsssssssst. So just tell pops the troof, and get it over with..... How long is a fade supposed to last anyway? Stop wasting time at meetings, or trying to impress your parents. Impress your wifey, and kids.....they will show you unconditional love for it. and you wont feel . . icky☺

  Elder harassed my mom and asked for donation

  my mom had surgery last month and she developed complication and had to be on antibiotics to treat infection.

  so, she is recovering slowly, but things was tough on her and she was not attending kh or went to assembly two weeks ago.

  nonetheless, elder showed up at her place and instead providing her with comfort he started to harass her that her faith is weak, she does not put trust in jah, etc.
