A JW experience
by Saintbertholdt inthis is a quick experience i have recently had and i have two questions at the end.. a couple of weeks ago, the dogs were barking at the gate on saturday morning and wouldn't you know it, it was some witnesses.
there was a father with his lovely wife and their young daughter.
the father did all the talking as mother and daughter just dutifully smiled and watched.

If all the world were JWs....
by Tornintwo inin my former indoctrinated state, i used to yearn for a time when all the world would be jws.
but hang on minute, let's just think about what the world would be like if everyone was a jw,.
first of all, no higher education, so no medical advances, no scientific research, no modern day medicine, infectious disease rife, no doctors, no engineers, so no modern day comforts.

Finally posting and I'm FRUSTRATED!!!

just giving you fair warning as your time may be better spent somewhere else.. so, i'm sitting on my lunch break, bawling my eyes out, and writing on this forum to people i don't know yet probably have a great deal in common with but at the same time, used to scare the daylights out of me.
for years, i would come across this forum and 'lurk' awhile if you will, or see things on youtube.

Hi Stephanie !!! Not vomit at all....reading your story brought back some memories. My parents were pretty relaxed in the jw world too. I drove a corvette to high school, went to prom with a "worldly " chick....all that great stuff. But the part of your story that hits home is the part of dumb ass not handing you the mic to pass off to someone.
Its happened to me alot.....ive been df'd going on 20 years, and thats a pet peev of mine. Once i snatched it outta the kids hand, and then handed it across😂😂😂, and then gently handed it back. But hang in there steph......life only gets better outside of the dang cult. Live life☺.

Do you think JWN members would be surprised if they got to know you in real life?
by nicolaou ini don't think you'd recognise me much at all.
i'm a royal mail postman, i love my job for the early starts and midday finish, the outdoors and the exercise.. i get on with people but i'm quite insular and don't enjoy crowds.
i'm happiest when i've fired up the charcoal and i'm making souvlaki or adana kebabs for my family and a few close friends.

Me, im a crane opperator on an offshore oil platform, i have many tattoos, ride a huge harley, and push many things to their limits. Considered by many as a mean looking, nice guy teddy bear type 😇.
Love guiness stout , and a good cigar. Not to mention some sugar cane moonshine once in a while.
Have fun in your man \ woman cave ...sounds fun.☺

BAD ASSOCIATIONS.....about 20 years ago i was in southern california selling very large quantities of drugs to many so called "bad people".
A very prominent hells angel friend of mine saw how deep in the game i was getting, and asked me to accompany him on a bike ride to talk. He knew my kids were very young, and knew my path would end me up in prison. He inspired me to stop selling drugs , and to go offshore and be the crane opperating man i am today. My kids look up to me.
The friend of mine was condsidered a murderer, extortioner, and an enforcer. That man is dead now.
My point? Nobody , nobody should EVER!!! judge another imperfect person. We are all imperfect, and in my case.....someone considered the worst of the worst, gave me the best counsel i have ever gotten. Unlike the bullshit counsel given at a damn kh, or assembly by them gb goons.
