  WHERE DO YOU POST FROM? ANY PARTICULAR TIME?

  when i started posting this morning it struck me that i was in the company of others around the world who were just getting up or going to bed.

  one can actually see when the brits have hit the forum - like now .

  do you post from home or work or both?.

  When I started posting this morning it struck me that I was in the company of others around the world who were just getting up or going to bed. One can actually see when the Brits have hit the forum - like now - and then the Americans later. I know there are other nationals posting, too - Hi Ozzie and LouBelle - so when do YOU usually start posting?

  Do you post from home or work or both?

  I start reading posts/posting usually around 8.00 a.m.- and it's so addictive that I come and go throughout the day As I'm at home it's easy and comfortable. I stop reading/posting usually around 10.00 p.m.

  my jw friend told me this from the meeting for service last week:.

  one of the "sisters" told the group that she had spoken to (dave h*********) one of the bigwigs in this area, about the report.

  he told her he had been to monroe prison, nearby, and asked about the pedophiles there and if any of them were jw's.

  Well, I guess I could bore the pants off everyone here when I talk about my illness again but, to be fair, 2007 and the previous two years had me in its grip and so, basically, I've actually lost three years of my life.

  However, 2007 could be the year I'm actually cured, too!

  2007 was when my daughter, Stephanie (Faundy) came out and admitted she was a Lesbian! I'm pleased for her because it means an enormous weight has been lifted off her shoulders and she can be herself now. She's studying English at university.

  Our first grandchild, Jack, was born to my son, Karl, and his girlfriend, Sarah. Karl's at university studying musical production.

  Our son, Dominic, continues to do well at college - even though he hates it

  Claire and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary and look forward to the biggie next year. We hope to travel to Colorado!!

  We visited Norm in Oslo earlier this year. What a truly fantastic guy. He's a great cook, too - and ladies, he's single!

  We purchased our third border collie, Ronnie. What a fabulous dog he's turning out to be.

  Kept up GREAT friendships here on JWD and hope to meet up with JWDers in April 2008 in Edinburgh.

  2008 offers great hope of my health being normal again, enabling Claire and I to travel more - and so meet more of you lot!

  Mom's calling me...

  ...and checking my spiritual status.. .

  first, she called me on thanksgiving day, and told me in a oddly warm tone, "i suppose you made turkey, right?

  " to which i replied in detail how i prepared it (mom's a cooking freak and she's great at it), and how i was amazed at how tender and rich it tasted, being the very first time i roast a turkey.

  just why it WAS wrong to welcome in the New Year?

  Because Watchtower says it is!

  Re Turkey, don't like it. Too dry. Roasted chicken much better and more succulent flesh.

  my husband decides not to decorate the house since my stupid sister asked the co of her congregation to call on us and he's been coming by on a casual basis.. well the co is in town so my husband says, "i'm not doing the house.

  Now what! I'm sure they came for the purpose to find out if we were celebrating Christmas. Do you think it would fly if we said we share the house with family and they put up the Christmas stuff?

  NO WAY!

  Your children are happy with all the Christmas lights:

  My son keeps saying, "Daddy! Let's decorate our house with lights."

  That says millions. Stuff the organisation and enjoy Christmas with your family.
