by Dansk inmy younger son and i decided to go for a walk this afternoon and, as always, we had to pass the house of an elder, which is on the corner of our cul-de-sac.
occasionally, i'd bump into the elder's wife and she say a nervous "hello!

now, i admit that i'm in a benzodiazapine withdrawal induced daze all of the time (did more research on this and it's quite possibly going to last another half a year or more...one person, who stopped klonopin 18 months ago described it as "always feeling as though i am just coming off an acid trip", which i don't know about but i can imagine), but i thought this was kind of mean.. i miss my daughters; they are never going to speak to me again, i feel so isolated here, i'm ashamed of the entire benzo withdrawal thing, ashamed that i can't hold a real job, just really, really down.. al stewart, as always, said it much better than i ever could:.

WT's Billions $$$$$$$ & and NOT one Nursing Home for the Old
by JT inas i looked at these photos i could not help but to think of the $$$$$$ billions that they own around the world and they have not setup one retirement home for it's members.
outside of any members who are bethelites such as co, do, missionaries who have spent 40-60yr of service to the corp they have no where to go.
how sad.

I live not too far from one of these establishments. As you mention, they're owned by wealthy JWs and NOT by the Borg (which doesn't give anything!). Trouble is, I've heard from people who used to work in them that, well, things could be a lot better!

In a way I'm glad they don't build nursing homes for the old. It'd be a way of enticing all the old Dubs to sign over all they had to them. You know "Come on old one, we'll look after you now. Just sign your will over to us and Jehovah will bless you for it!"

Such a machine was donated to one or two hospitals in the North-West as well. BUT GUESS WHO HAD TO PAY FOR THEM! It was all down to our loving donations - again! - while the Borganisation paid #*^"all!!
