  has the gb ever explained exactly how they supposedly communicate with god and get new light or other "inspiration" for their "spiritual dog food"?.

  do they all sit in a room together and hold hands and join one conciousness??.

  do they fall asleep and go to the dream world and talk to jehovah there like the movie inception or something??.

  I heard that the "sole channel" programming is being cancelled this season due to poor viewer support. The writers and directors are having a tough time coming u with new material and the viewers are sick and tired of the reruns.

  Can an Anointed be Disfellowshipped by the Elders of Earthly Class Now?

  hi folks.

  anointed jws have heavenly hope, including the esteemed privilege of reigning as kings and priests with jesus christ.

  while they preach and share practially the same spiritual activities as members of the other sheep (os) do, an anointed jw has a greater distinction.. come now the disfellowshipping standards.

  angels and women

  i was told by jw's that angels came down to earth before the flood, and had children with women.. i have a question about this and would like the sort of answer a jw would give so that i can be ready for them when they come to my door.. if one third of god's angelic staff were banished to earth, are they doing this now?.

  if not, what is stopping them?.

  if so, where are all these half angel children?.

  Good point smiddy! The bible was written by MEN not women. So the angels had to be MEN also because in their man-dominated society, women were just for having babies. The whole idea of the angels being able to materialize before the flood but not after the flood is laughable at best. That materialized angels business means that the angels could also create things, that they knew jehober's secret to creating the male member and the miracle of birth--how the sperm works and all that stuff--right? So even if the babies were half angel, half man freaks or born by some miracle insemination the women had to bare them.

  If there was a pill that could open their eyes - would you give it to them?

  if there was a pill you could give to your jw family members that would awaken their eyes to the truth about the cult, would you give it to them?.

  most would probably say yes.. but what about those who are completely institutionalized, the elderly, the super zealous, the geeky kids who have no friends, the misfits?.

  some people need "boundaries", they need someone to lead and give them directions, they need a sense of belonging, even in an organization that has no social programs.

  If your jw parents/family/friends, people that you love, were dying slowly of a dreaded disease and you had a pill that could cure them, would you give it to them? I think the answer is rather obvious. HELL YES!

  Shouldn't the WTBTS have more than 7 million followers after 140 years of preaching?

  after 140 years of preaching and millions of books, magazines, and tracts, all the wtbts has to show is a measly 7 million members.

  the mormons, baptists, pentecostals and many other religions have more members without the preaching work.. in your opinion, is 7 million members way too many for all the odd beliefs, doctrines and practices ?

  or, should be more members since they have had over 140 years of being in the religion business?.

  If we think jw's recruiting is bad, just cmpare it to Noah. Hell he didn't convert anyone outside his immediate family during his decades of preaching. The whole world drown. His ministry was really unproductive LOL

  it has something to do with the demons.

  another example is that it is considered satanic if a man took his hat off for a lady!

  oral sex.

  I got df'ed forit in late 77. I was reinsteted 4 months later when the wtbts change their ruling on what they should df for regarding bedroom sex. LOL. I was an elder at the time an they asked me if i would like to become an elder again. My answer was----nfw. No fu*king way u bunch of hiopcryts.

  WTBT$ and natural disasters- do they get paid to do the repairs?

  when there is a natural disaster in the us, we always hear about the wtbt$ rushing in and doing all sorts of repair work for the local jw's and even for "worldly" neighbors.

  a zillion examples of this in the katrina hurricane aftermath, various major floods around the country, tornadoes, fires, etc.

  on the surface, this sort of charitable assistance appears to me to be one of the few truly loving and charitable things the wtbt$ ever gets involved with, and certainly all the volunteer jw's who work so hard doing this work deserve credit for their efforts.

  Sounfds about right. Help the afficted and devestated but in the end ask to be reembursed. After all the money will be use for the world wide expansion ( of the nicely appointed new bethel buildings going up all over) work of the kingdom. LOL

  the question arises because of the great similarities i see between jw land and n korea.

  for one thing, the information flow is the same in the two realms; its one way from the top down.

  The Governing Body should be kicked out due to old age

  in bethel, and with co's, etc, once a person is too old to be of much use, they are kicked out and left to satan's welfare system to care for them.

  why is it that governing body members are in position for life?

  they don't get super human power, so they should be kicked out and left to government welfare at the same age they have felt it appropriate to kick the others out and let a younger, stronger governing body take over.
