i have been looking around at jws and wondering how many truly believe the end is as near as they are told.
from my personal experience, i know that my parents fully believe the end is imminent and may come any time now.
Deep down in their hearts, probably no jw really believes anymore. It's extremely difficult to admit their lack of belief but reality has set in for most. And of course all they need to do is look at their leaders and see that the gb is NOT preparing for the end, they are preparing to expand jehober's earthly possessions. The only urgency today in the wtbts is survival.

every active jw that stays in hiding their knowledge about ttatt is a hole in the watchtower wall.
i propose those who can stay in, should, especially if they have high positions.
how else can we know what they are up to?
Although, I'm in the no service, donation, participation, kh cleaning, nor go to any 'special meetings' group, I don't see any point in making a hasty disassociation from the borg. My family is still in but I can see them weakening each passing month. I get to spread a little of ttatt nearly every week or meeting that I go to. Damn this is so much fun to know everything that goes on 'behind closed doors' so to speak. i love it when just last week an elder friend of mine started telling me about the 'elders only' meeting regarding the new kh building arrangement. Holy s**t, I knew more about it than he did and I let him know it in a round about way. Man it was fun!

the borg seem to prepare for changes by missing explanations out for a while then presenting a "new understanding" which doesn't contradict the most recent discussion.check out the most recent references to gog - no identification as satan.. in today's wt study, paragraph 15 concerning benefitting from the prodigal son stated "if we meet a person who has strayed from the congregation, will we offer loving and practical help to assist him to return?
" there is no footnote or other qualifier saying not to go to disfellowshipped ones (who are definitely the ones being talked about) which is still the official policy.
i know this isn't an ending to shunning, but it may signal the start of the preparation for a change.
I also noticed a sort of 'change' in the shunning policy being alluded to in the wt yesterday. i think that someone at Brooklyn is assigned to monitor this and other 'apostate sites' in order to get some real life understanding of the bible in the proper context. The 'prodigal son' certainly does not properly illustrate the current df'ing policy by the borg.
What I saw being intimated was a sort of 'nu-lite', a difference between df'ing and shunning. in other words, if someone is coming to meetings, then dubs can greet them at the kh only. No socializing. That was the buzz at our kh yesterday.
Is it possible that the gb has heard enough from the r and f regarding the inhumane practice of shunning, and/or that they know that many are not following the shunning bs when it comes to close friends and family?

the watchtower may 2015 features an image and timeline of the attack of gog of magog to support the new doctrinal changes introduced by gb 2.0.. now i wonder where they got that idea from?.

we all know that jws think that the world hates them and take it as a badge of honor.
like all their beliefs they don't just come up with these ideas on their own, they come from indoctrination through the jw publications.. here's what they are being taught in their may 2015 watchtower magazine.
