  to give you some quick details, my ex-wife and her two sisters were repeatedly raped and molested for years by their jw father.

  we went to the elders, and as you probably know, nothing ever really happened to him, all he got was privately reproved.

  well,...fast forward,, i remarried and have a wonderfull wife who is also an ex-jw.

  I like the book of Job because it shows that even though you get dealt a bad hand if you persevere you'll be rewarded in the end. It also shows that in your worst times your friends can be assholes AND that one book really showcases God's sense of humor and ultimate sarcasm. It makes you REALLY not want to get into any kind of debate with Him.

  there are many websites (like this one) that use quotes from wt publications, however, the wt has not filed a lawsuit against those websites... yet.. any ideas on what specific quotes at http://quotes.watchtower.ca pissed of the wt so that the wt has now filed a lawsuit?.

  Has anyone ever considered that this is the reason why they stopped mailing out the mags on a subscription basis? They are sick of us "apostates" getting ahold of their material and using it against them so now the only way to get it is to pick it up from the hall.

  There is no legal presidence that I know of that says you can't use certain metatags to get your site noticed on search engines. This isn't like Ebay where you can't sell a Linux OS using the word "Windows" in the description. The internet doesn't have "search manipulation" policies that you have to adhere to like Ebay does. How else do you think that porn sites can come up when doing a search for children's sites? And for them to demand the URL be transfered to them is outrageous.

  can any christian imagine jesus christ taking the pharisees to court and complaining to the sanhedrin:

  "stop these men from quoting me accurately--it is embarassing!"?

  the pharisees twisted words for their own benefit and opposed jesus publicly for exposing their errors as errors of men spouting human opinion and passing it off as god's authority.
