Any electricians out there?
My fiance and I are going to have a panel upgrade and all rewriring in our house. The house is an old craftsman built some time in the 30s here in California.
Any suggestions or ideas would be very helpful and much appreciated.
Our biggest concern of course is getting taken to the cleaners. We don't really know the right questions to ask.

Bethel Police pulled me over for a violation
by What-A-Coincidence inwearing faded jeans only as a bethelite is a cause for concern for the governing body.
i had jeans that were not totally faded as the "world" would consider them.
so one freaken' weekend as i passed by a wt building, a tightwod bethel elder (now just an elder) asked me how i was doing (bla bla bla).

if you mary your deceased best friend's fiance what happens when the three of you meet up again in the new system?
i mean i know the reasoning that the dead will be resurrected to perfection and will feel no more physical pain but what about the emotional pain?

Do you think if a couple such as the one I'm speaking of here can actually, truly have faith in their religion?
I wonder what goes through their minds when they think about what they are going to say when they all meet up again one day.
This is really funy to me now but I imagine it to be very scary for those involved. -

Quick survey for apostates - please everyone just yes or no answer
by slimboyfat indo the other witnesses with whom you associate/once associated in general know that you are an apostate or have apostate inclinations?
the reason for the phrase "in general" is that it may be the case that one or two close friends know how you feel, but others in general do not.
in my own case, one other witness knows, but no one else, so i would answer the survey question with a "no".

Film Scenes that got burnt onto your memory
by greendawn inwhat were some film scenes that pleased or horrified you so much that they stayed vivid in your memory for a long time?
the one i always recall is the scene where anthony hopkins (playing as hannibal lector) lobotomised ray liotta (paul krendler) cutting off pieces of his brain and giving them to him to eat.
he also took some of liotta's cooked brain in a plane and gave them to an unsuspecting passenger boy sitting next to him to eat.

I hate the damn commercial advertisement for the new version Pride and Prejudice.
I scream at the T.V. everytime it's aired. The line "You've bewitched me body and soul" really pisses me off.
I have no idea why that is.... LOL -

When I first stopped going to the KH I totally depended on it. A few of the elders called me at least once a week for about 6 months. I am proud to say I never, not once, returned their calls. LOl

the above book is full of wrong dates.
i can remember studying that one.. it was studied at least twice at the book studies because the gb body said to study it again since new information had come to light and the book needed to be studied again.

Do you feel old?

I'm turning 30 next month. I don't feel old but I am a little depressed about turning 30. I haven't done anything with my life. I feel like I wasted the past ten years. I know to those of you 40 yrs and up probably think turning 30 is no big deal. It wouldn't be to me either if I actually have accomplished something in my life. Ok, now I'm just being bitter and feeling sorry for myself. Really I'm ok. LOL
