What affected you more, growing up in the cult, or a dysfunctional family?

Last night's BIG LOVE

OMG Niki really does have a freakin big mouth! Her calling Alby and warning him they were taking their father back after he tried to kill him! OMG! Can she be anymore stupid! LOL -

I didn't see/hear the scene w/ Alby talking about the ATF on the phone. They did leave the possible fourth wife storyline open.
And Barb telling the neighbors about their lifestyle can't be a good thing. I guess they did leave a few things open. There was something else I think Niki said that left me hanging and wondering what the new season will bring. I can't remember now what it was. -

ok, I have to watch it again. I was a little disappointed with the finale. I was on the phone w/ a friend during some of it but everything seemed to work out too easily.
Do you think Bill is the one who turned on Roman and had him arrested? I think so. Albe was seemed quites pleased his father was being taken down but I think Bill was behind it. Was he behind it? Was that clear? I really need to watch it again.
I really hate the long breaks in between shows on HBO. -

by fedorE inalthough i still have doubts there is life after death, i believe i would be hanging on to every last vestige of my son that i could and that means talking to him.
talking into the air and crying.
realizing this is his final resting place.

I have no strong beliefs about what happens after death but I would go to the grave site and talk with my son/daughter or any loved one very dear to me. Sometimes I think about going to my grandfather's grave and talking to him to try and feel some connection but I've never done it.
But for my child, husband, mother/father, or sibling I would imagine it could be very good therapy. I can't say for sure though how long I'd do it. -

by dobbie inso sis in law father has been on dialysis for yrs and is elderly and hubby just got a text from his bro 'just so you don't put your foot in it ******'s father is stopping dialysis this wk and has 2 wks to live' (hes a jw too).
so i said to hubby he should reply and mention how sorry we are but he said why as they're treating me(dobs) like dirt and he doesn't see why he should.
but although they have cut me out now totally it seems i still think i should do something.

I'm faded but my family knows my beliefs and they don't harass me anymore. My brother may shun me if he is harassed by the elders and my sister may for awhile but it wouldn't last.
I think I will message him soon. I'm only worried about outing him. -

I saw this witness on myspace but before I could be sure it was him I asked my friend to check it out. She thinks that it has got to be him as well.
I was searching one day for different people and I thought of him and other friends I used to have in dubland. There was less than a full page of people with his name. Anyways his picture is up but it has been such a long time, I thought I could be wrong till my friend confirmed and believes 100% it is him.
So I just got off the phone w/ my sis and asked her if this guy is still a witness. She said yes. I said are you sure and she said YES again. Even though she never sees him anymore I believe her because she is still pretty good friends w/ his brother.
I wanted to know if he was a witness or not b/c his space would never meet JW approval. LOL
So now I'm wondering if I should email him. I wonder if he is having doubts or if he is perfectly content living a double life. I don't want to scare him or embarrass him either. He was always a nice guy.
MY sis is wondering why I brought him up out of the blue. I'm sure she figure it out soon enough. She's always teasing me about having a myspace account. She thinks I'm too old for it. So did I about 6 months ago. LOL
