  Cool van bikerchic...It looks like it might break down often, but with all that crazy stuff on it, I'm sure people will stop to help us!

  I don't know about the groupie thing..lol!

  Astrogirl, I saw Fear on that 'decline of western...etc.' video, and they were scaring the crap out of me!

  They seemed kinda thuggish! Maybe it was just part of the show..it made the West coast shows I've been too seem like a walk in the park.

  The Damned, Bad Brains...Buzzcocks! wow..you gotta write a book!

  So tell me, as a veteran of that early nyc thing, what do you think of this neo garage punk stuff? esp. strokes, yeah yeah yeahs..et al? I just can't get into it. I'm old.

  i stated that he does, unequivocally and without doubt.

  i refused to preface the statement with the phrase "i believe".

  I really do enjoy your posts, and I gotta say, from what I've read of them, you seem to represent the best of Christian faith..

  So why does god answer someone praying about something trivial like getting a new job, but ignores (seemingly) the prayer of an abused child?

  What lesson is god trying to teach that child?

  If god is all powerful and all loving why doesn't he stop the abuse?

  Why doesn't his love us?

  Someone wrote 'xjw meetup' on a napkin and put it on the table later, and well...next time, I think we should have something like that right at the start.

  Astro girl, you are my new hero (no sandwich pun intended..)

  Damn, you got to meet D.Boon! That's so cool. Did you ever cross paths with anyone from The Gun Club? Just curious because I've been listening to them a lot lately...

  I read "Our band could be your life" last year or so..sounds like that was the era of which you speak.

  I think my biggest brush with punk greatness was buying a Hansen's natural soda for Mike Watt after a show a few years back.

  He was so down to earth, and totally charming.

  I can't wait to see the flyers!

  A good time was had by all...

  It was a typical rainy Portland Saturday, but we had a big full table of great people for the meetup!

  I've been invited into a cover band!

  i called him back today and he's working on putting together a side project, a classic rock cover band to make some extra cash.

  he asked me if i wanted to be the singer.

  Farting at the Kingdom Hall.

  once, when i was nine, i farted so loud, from the back row, that the guy giving the prayer started laughing and had to try really hard not to totally lose it.. any other stories?
