14Ever have a day...
by joannadandy inmy whole week has been very stressful...i am working on my resume and essay to get a placement for student teaching...because numbers of student teachers are so high, and numbers of teachers willing to accept us are so low, well pressure is on to impress.
we've been lectured for the last two months that if you don't strike on the formula they want, your gone.
if you have one grammatical error, you're gone.

shooters? Drinking before meetings? Anyone?
by goofy inok, up to the last i would make sure and have a few drinks before i went to the meeting.
it helped me relax as i am very hypertense and up to the last was going crazy listenning as i truly believe the speakers were getting more boring than before.
i never did but thought it would be cool to sneak a shooter in your purse and down it in the restroom mid-way, but i can't drink hard liquor straight, so that didn't happen.

The congregation "parties". They actually called them parties. Come on..I have been to some parties and the ones held in the congregations do not qualify. You sit around a pot luck and talk about the latest meeting or servicing experience. If your lucky someone gets a game going somewhere, but no one wants to be competitive and actually keep score. And the clothes should not be revealing or sexy.
I could show them how to party. I think I will send out some invites to a party--my style

Our coffee breaks were shorter and sometimes we didn't even get to take them because some of the CO's and their wives didn't believe in them. Oh I hated to miss the coffee break!

For some reason all this legal talk and preceding of the society brings to my mind a scripture test stating to the affect that "You are no longer under law but under love" hummmm.....did someone forget to tell the society this before they spent all that money on sending their attorneys to law school so that they can keep the followers under law? and fight by means of the courts and laws? Hey, they could have saved a lot of money if they knew that scriptural passage and knew that law was done away with and because of Jesus we came under love. Anyone want to share that passage with Brooklyn? Besides why does this brother get to go to college and I could not?????? Why is it wrong for me and not for this brother???
