Does anyone have any interesting observations since the book study arrangement in private homes finished?
Are JWs happier with the extra night off? Do they miss the book study? For some, that was the only social interaction they got with other dubs.

My sucky situation
by brotherdan inhi guys,.
sadly some of them had been in bethel for 5 - 10 years and were still cleaning toilets.. after about 2 years of it i couldn't do it anymore.
i always knew something wasn't quite right with this organization.

You make an interesting observation, but the problem remains - which Biblical accounts do we pick and choose to believe and how do we know? Is the flood more likely to dismissed than Jesus' miracles?

The flood served two purposes because it was also a judgment for those living on the planet. Once the fallen angels dissolved their fleshly containers and were back in the spirit realm, they were stripped of the power to materialize again.
As mankind grew in numbers, Satan tempted some of the angels away from God's organization. They materialized on this planet and married human women. They told the people of the preflood days what secrets they knew of heaven. The marriages between the angels and humans did not please God. Noah and his family were righteous in God’s eyes, so they found favor with him. They were the only humans to survive the flood. The waters of that flood not only drowned all living things that resided on previous dry ground, but it also took with them the secrets divulged by those fallen angels.
The flesh the angels materialized was not what God had started the first human pair from. It was a counterfeit flesh that doomed the offspring to a judgment of destruction, as well as the wives of both the fallen angels and the Nephilim offspring. The angels that materialized in human form were not of mankind’s "one flesh". They materialized a counterfeit flesh that did not represent God's original creation, and the union between these counterfeit humans and the female offspring of Adam and Eve produced their own hybrid offspring.
The fallen angels kept some of their superior attributes while taking fleshly form, and this produced the Nephilim sons that became "mighty ones." Something else that made them stronger and mightier was that they ate animal flesh, which was not on mankind’s menu back then.
It was God's will that none of them should survive the deluge, but, he also wanted the disobedient angels to return to the spirit realm. The flood accomplished that. For their transgression, the fallen angels were put under Satan’s control, because he was the first of his kind to sin.

I think a lot is buried in the oceans from the preflood world. The receding of the waters were not to their original boundaries. Many of the land masses under went change from caverns, rising land masses and trenches that were created from God's hand being involved, which altered the original water boundaries and created new ones.

I remember reading somewhere that some of the pyramids predate the flood. This might include the sphinx.
Some archaeologists have asserted earlier dates to a number of clay tablets excavated from the preflood period but the clay tablets are not dated documents. It is evident that writing existed in the preflood world, even though the Bible does not make mention or reference to any writings in that period.
The Bible gives only a basic understanding of that era and much is left out. It does not make mention every time someone went to the toilet, but we know that the natural order provided for such things. Speaking or putting thoughts on clay tablets was no less a natural progression. Today, we still do much of what was done in the preflood era - the building of cities, the development of musical instruments and theory etc.

The situation is more complex than most realize and involves the issue of free will.
If you believe the account fine, if not, fine.
It was never intended that the angels become human and mate with women. They circumvented the command in Genesis for only humans to be fruitful and multiply. Bear in mind the scripture that says, "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh."
The fallen angels also lost their wives and children at the flood - but this was a judgement from God. Had the angels been unable to dematerialize they too would have died.
