It's clear from the Scriptures that "the sons of God" who came down to mate with women are from heaven.

Qcmbr,
Why differentiate between angels ( messengers ) and human spirits? If angels can mate with humans stands to reason they are humans. In fact why make man in the image of god, make man genetically compatible with god ( hence Jesus could be conceived ) and then promise us that we could be gods...unless that's the plan?
I believe angels have a different makeup than human spirits. I do not believe angels would have to be human in the first place to mate with women.

PS,
I would have to ask why God would need to experience a corporal death, his Son already did that for us.
JWs believe life after death is impossible.
I believe we do survive corporeal death, that we live in fleshly vessels.

Qcmbr,
I once heard it said that Holy Ghosts are transformed by Christ’s energy which comes from the Father.

I think there have to be some limitations and these are a byproduct of existence. If God "died" then everything as we know it would be destroyed because our life force is given by the One that emanates it.
What do you think this scripture means? Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away."

Qcmbr,
I don't see how this would work - if a God experienced death it wouldn't be a God anymore unless it became split energy, one resurrecting the other half.
I think if it were possible, it would be necessary to have an understanding of the nature and function of the Spirit Realm to ponder even a small fraction of God's existence.

Qcmbr,
Yes, I remember this scripture. "Let us" would seem to indicate at least more than one powerful entity.

PS
For some reason the quote button throws up an error...
anyway...
Well, God "lives" in an alternate "reality" or "parallel universe" or "dimension", which ever way you want to look at it.
While montheism is commonly viewed as a belief in ONE god it is perhaps more accurate to view it as a belief in ONE SUPREME CREATOR God.
This I accept. I believe God exists in eternity and we exist in this reality, perhaps even within God himself.
