elderlite,
I'm not talking about the physical human brain. The mind is yourself, your consciousness, the thing that says "I'm alive"
I believe that when you die, you go to heaven - simple.

Breakfast,
A scientific mind cannot grasp the invisible realm because they think in terms of human logic. A spirit is not human, they are above flesh and blood, that's why God says humans cannot come to know or understand how it works. What people seek to find out scientifically does not exist on a scale or chart they could ever understand.
Breakfast,
Plain old curiosity. The scriptures say that the sons of God noticed the daughters of women. Perhaps Satan was encouraging them to think about the act of sex and proceation. And once having materialized as a human and experimented, those thoughts and feelings would be cemented in their mind forever.
Breakfast,
Could an angel, with no physiological states and no mental states CRAVE a PHENOMENALLY DELICIOUS (albeit of dubious nutritional value) McRib sandwich?
I guess only if they experienced it first!
I believe in the existence of the spirit realm, I have personally experienced the supernatural so that reinforces my belief.
thetrueone,
You can't possible prove what you just said in as much as you say I can't prove the Flood happened.
Sabastious,
I hardly think Jesus would have alluded to an event people were familiar with if it wasn't true.
It must have been an unnatural event, what else would you call it?
Yan,
Sorry, but I believe both exist, and just because you can't except one doesn't mean I have to.
thetrueone,
I understand where you're coming from. People only go by what they know and can measure. The Flood was an unnatural event, meaning it was supernatural, and therefore out of the bounds of our scientific reasoning.
Knowsnothing,
Breakfast, another question would be, why would they necessarily find only women attractive? Angels are spirits, but they are males too?
Also, couldn't angels have found animals attractive? I know, bizzare and disgusting, but one has to push the boundaries on these discussions sometimes to get a point across.
Angels are genderless. In the Bible, they appear in the likeness of men in harmony with the Creator's preference that they are "sons of God" - but they can go either way, as men or women. It is whichever they have a preference for or what they feel inside.
