thetrueone,
I watched the flood video you posted. I do not agree on the year given as the time of the flood. As for the ark's design, it was God's design so be careful who you criticize. Noah simply worked from the plans.

Flat, I've been a member nine years longer than you, there's no trolling with me :)
Regarding dreams, this is an interesting response I found:
The things your mind thinks up, those things are created on the Astral Plane. If you have fears, you might very well create your own nightmare out there, but it is not real. It is simply energy converted for a scenario that is played out in your dream. As an astral projector, via the astral body, you will often witness these dreams taking place. They look like scenes of a movie being played out. As the person nears the wake state, the scenes dissipate and dissolve away. They are also capsuled within a bubble that looks much like an Orb. That’s how you can tell that it is a dream in motion. As you watch the bubble dissolve, you know the dream is coming to a climax.
Continuing on the same line of though, if you think about it, when you dream, you use something called creative thought or energy utilized for that dream.
Like phantom energy, it can't harm you even if you dream you've been mortally wounded, but the spirits take creative energy one step further, they become what they think, thought is gasoline to the body and with it they cast how they want to appear, it's what gives them their arms and legs.
Sabastious,
An interesting thought!
I once read somewhere that spirits are composed of energy that vibrates at extremely high frequencies. In order to perform tasks in the physical world, they pulse down, or lower their vibrations, which gives them mass and atomic weight. This is pure speculation but if might explain how they interact with our physical world.
thetrueone,
I have not tried to cherry pick any scriptures to support doctine which is clearly already there...or are you saying that all scripture is not inspired of God?
Yan,
I surmise you are an atheist.
People - it's OK to believe something even if everyone else challenges it. I'm talking about the Bible here. I'm not saying it's 100% accurate. It has gone through many translations over the years. Some words have appeared where they should not have. Other words have been taken out.
The Word is like a jig saw puzzle.
Well, it's been an interesting discussion, done in the spirit of mildness.
I have to go now but will be back to check for new comments.

thetrueone,
I understand what you're saying. No, I can't prove it happened. But I am a Christian who believes the Bible. Am I to just pick and choose what to believe just because your "mountains of evidence" apparently say otherwise? To deny the Flood, I might as well deny Christ.
