my grandmother died at the end of 2013 and while going through her photos we found some of my great-grandmother, dora, who was born in 1901 and died in 1994. there is a photo of dora dated 1946 standing outside her house in east riding, yorkshire.

on the back of the photo her husband had written "in a human moment before jehovah grabbed her".. my great grandfather, who died before i was born, did not like the witnesses.

Here's an interesting update about my family involvement with the JWs.

I recently discovered medical records regarding my great-uncle's admission to a psychiatric hospital in 1959. He was 20 at the time and the entry for religion had "Jehovah Witness."

It seems my grandmother got her mother involved, and her brother (my g-uncle) and this would have been around 1958.

Local elder dies of starvation

well , not really.. our hall recently had a secret collection for our head elder who is almost on the verge of becoming homeless.

i guess he lost some cleaning contracts because his clients were just sick of his no shows because of his pioneer work.

there is always something more important to do than earn a living.. this is the same assholes he is always shaming people to not doing enough.

i'm analyzing the 221 congregations in the uk that had additional account info.. correct me if i'm wrong, but was it 2015 when the letter was read out instructing congregations to donate excess funds to the world wide work?.

the amounts donated to the world wide work are significant.
