David Carter was a DO right?
I remember David Bingham, Colin Conraderie, Richard Cullen, and another guy called Mike and his wife Deirdree.
just been reminiscing about how c/a's have changed since we were young.
i remember when they started friday night in some rented hall , as well as the two weekend days.
saturday morning was a brief session then field ministry (which only a few performed ) and sunday sessions.. in the free time around the venue we just used to hang out socialising and eyeing up the girls.

I used to volunteer at Haysbridge (have I spelt that correctly) in Surrey. I did the cleaning and vacuuming, it was a great way to avoid boredom.
For the district conventions I volunteered at Southampton and Twickenham.
There is nothing social to look forward to in the the org. I think Facebook will replace what young JWs can't get from the hall.
i can't remember where i first heard about this movie but it was recently.
i guess they even showed it on tv.
probably payed for like an infomercial.. anyway, i looked it up on youtube and viola!.
Room 215
That's interesting, thanks for sharing. I work in Hackensack; I'm going to see if I can recognize any of the filming locations.

has anyone noticed that with each new child abuse case that involves the watchtower, there is no apology to the victims but only their standard cookie cutter response:.
"jehovah's witnesses abhor child abuse".
they "abhor child abuse", but they do not acknowledge any guilt.. i give them a g for repetition for emphasis.
If you look up the definition of abhor it means the following:
has anyone noticed that with each new child abuse case that involves the watchtower, there is no apology to the victims but only their standard cookie cutter response:.
"jehovah's witnesses abhor child abuse".
they "abhor child abuse", but they do not acknowledge any guilt.. i give them a g for repetition for emphasis.

i remember a few years back being involved in the campaign work, and having the distinctly awkward experience of having to hand the householders this piece of sh1t tract "the end of false religion is near!"..
i recall the discomfort i had trying to get into a conversation about this nonsense.
What's wrong with the edit feature, it won't let me save.

I remember my first special tract campaign. It was 1995 and the tract was entitled "Will All People Ever Love One Another?"

wifi bandit, thanks for the sheet. Perhaps you could colour those members who have died.
cult speak if i ever heard and saw it.. unbelievable cult...it seriously gets worse.
like when he interviews a couple with 60 years service, the wife (who looks like hillary clinton) says how she had to leave missionary work because she was diagnosed with a serious illness while on vacation in the usa.
then she says her husband had to get a job so he could pay her medical bills and i'm thinking where is jehovah's organization in all this.

Then she says her husband had to get a job so he could pay her medical bills and I'm thinking where is Jehovah's organization in all this. She has a serious health problem and instead of the Org paying her medical bills, her husband has to get a job and pay them. So much for her "loyalty", and there she is looking to do more "for Jehovah's organization!"
