Great post Jo Ho.
and boy do I remember the announcement: "The cleaning of the Kingdom Hall is THE PRIVILEGE of the [insert name of congregation]."

something just dawned on me today as i processed my assimilation into the real world (thanks to our new poster, @jester, giving me a major throwback to my first post).. when you're a jehovah's witness, you really are in some sort of la la land.
things which are perfectly normal are acts of eating from the table of the demons.
things which are horribly grotesque and extremely unjust are branded as "righteousness".
Great post Jo Ho.

i'm pretty certain i'm not the only one here who experiences this.. i occasionally have jw dreams.
the most recent one was me giving a talk in my home congregation.
all i had on was my trousers (pants), socks and shoes.
That's what I thought Bw5000, thank you for sharing.
greetings, former children:.
i really miss my childhood home, which we left in 1960. dad sold it for some 12,000 dollars; it recently sold for somewhere under 1.5 million.
it's only a tiny bungalow but in a prosperous bay area town, not too far from san francisco, california.. the art and literature that are so important to me -- and for many others of us -- got their start in my heart and mind here in the california mountains.
I grew up in south-east England. Our street was a new development which was built on the site of an old convent. Ours was an interesting street and had a high wall which ran mostly around the entire street. This was part of the original convent enclosure. We had a lot of trees so being a kid I used to climb them and climbed over the wall into the neighbour's houses behind and go scrumping for apples etc.
We had the book study and field service arrangements at my house for many years.

I've had Armaggedon dreams where I'm hiding or trying to avoid being hit by fireballs. Scary stuff.
I think dreams tell us things. Giving a talk while topless may indicate being exposed as an apostate.
The weird thing is I interact with witnesses from my hall. I've had dreams where I know I'm apostate but I'm in the congregation, trying to figure out my escape.

i am a subscriber on youtube for kim and mikey, marc and cora, susan gaskin, stacy lopez, spike r, and several others.
i recently found a channel called anonni mowse and she is just fantastic.
she is so down to earth, very educated, and speaks her mind so clearly about her being in the cult.
Not British. I think Irish.

quite frankly im disturbed at the lack of love and compassion.
especially for the first sister they talk about!.
I'm watching this and can't believe this is the sort of thing that is labouriously discussed at elder's meetings. They truly "strain out a gnat and swallow a camel."

They quote Exodus 17 where Moses is hoding up his rod so that the Israelites would prevail in battle and if his hands got tired and lowered the rod, the Amalekites would prevail.
I never understood this. How unfair to have your life as a soldier in the hands of a tired old man who couldn't keep his rod up.
the complete resource to all congregations in the uk (inc northern ireland) is available.. all information is publicly available and is considered correct as of today.. as with any file this large, there may be mistakes.
if you find any, please let me know.. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1rz0dqqh3p6rlkbylpppr6x5nx8lbslao.
It does look that way doesn't it. A lot of Scottish congregations have a deficit.
Where did you see Ardrishaig downgraded to a group? I didn't think that was possible.
