  this podcast is very interesting, especially the latter half.

  in a nutshell, the scheme is this: after determining that a complete kingdom hall remodel will cost the congregation $100,000.00, the regional building committee arbitrarily inflates the estimate to $250,000.00, fleecing the congregation and misappropriating the additional funds for other purposes.

  @RAT360- if he was involved why would he be trying to expose it?

  Maybe you should do some research and find some facts before you start accusing people.

  It has not occured to him or he is in denial that the corruption goes all the way to the top.

  grafitti which staked out the turf of the many rowdy gangs in town was everywhere.

  this was the wild west where a mans mettle was measured by how many drinks he could consume and still maintain a lightning draw and trigger finger.

  SOCHI Olympics 2014

  how is everyone enjoying the olympics.. any favorites.. swiss cross country skier "super" dario cologna nailed a rush to the finish line for the gold in the skiathlon.. jamie andersen had a great run in the slopestyle competition and sage kostenberg with his new 1620 japan air trick to win gold will be a film highlight for a long time to come.. the dutch went 1 2 3 in speed skating..

  The Pastor of my Old Church Tried to Re-Convert Me Yesterday

  yesterday evening my wife and i were invited to friends house for new year's eve.

  we met them when i was a christian and we have kept in touch.

  they had a few other friends there as well, including the new church pastor and his wife.

  Cofty, I agree. That reasoning also can lead to "mercy" killings and Jonestown koolaid, suicide- because this life is seen as temporary. What about when an unbeliever dies and your JW friends tell you at least now he will be resurrected so it was a blessing he died before the big A.

  Thinking this life is temporary , and another better one is available after death is dangerous.
