  i believe the media is far from being liberal.

  i find it amusing that conservatives actually believe that the media is liberal, i don't know what tv they are watching or what newspaper they read but i think that nothing could be further from the truth.

  abc (16 of 92) and cbs (12 of 70) each had 17 percent skeptics.

  Who is the current "King of the South"?

  ever since the ussr fell it seems the jw's have been trying to find anyone to proclaim the king of the south (sorry if thats not how u say it but i'm just directly translating "rey del sur" ) just wondering if anyone knows who is the latest suspect, n korea maybe?

  by the way, another example of how elitist the wts is, albeit subtle, why isnt the us the king of the south?

  after all geographically speaking the former ussr is further north than the us.

  does anyone know if there are spies who monitor these boards?

  has anyone unintentionally "outed" themselves solely by posting on these boards?

  i have been out for over 7 years now but my family is still in and i am afraid of giving too many details about myself for fear that someone will inform them.

  are JW's classist?

  is it just coincidence or do jw's seem to prefer members to be of at least middle class standing.

  i cant think of one brother who had to struggle to make ends meet who became an elder or ms. in fact it seems like those ones were often viewed as weak.

  any thoughts?

  did any of you hear any of the urban legends that jw's used to scare people into being deathly afraid of demons?

  for example i remeber hearing that a child brough a smurf doll to a meeting and upon hearing the name jehovah uttered it got up and walked out.

  isnt it funny how when it was rumored that a gb member might make an apperance at the assembly people would gasp and get all a flutter because they might get a glimpse of them or actually get to hear them.

  women would wear their fanciest dressess, the men would get a haircut and practice their line should they get a chance to speak to him.

  children would stare from a distance and giggle... what a joke!

  does anyone have any recent statistics for how many jw's there are today and their rate of growth?

  i thought i heard recnetly that they actually lost people on year recently?

  can anyone verify?.
