Brought up as JW until I was 17 when my father (an elder) was ganged up on for being violent and abusive. He lashed out with other accusations aganst those elders and the congregation was ripped apart. I was left very disillusioned and was abandoned by my fellow "loving" brothers and sisters after the dust settled. My father went insane, divorced my mother and disappeared. He was a total arsehole anyway.....
