What does your online handle mean?

a few of us use our real names as our handles, but most of us use something else, such as a nickname or a variation of our real name.

iiz2cool - it was not my nickname (i really don't think i'm all that cool), but that of an old friend named mike prezelj.

i won't go into how he got the name, but it happened when we were all very high, and you had to be there to understand.

I picked neverthere, simple cause I was neverthere as a JW that is.

my dad was a muslim and my mom was a methodist before they converted to jw.now that i am out what do i say if someone asks me my religion???

it may sound funny to members from western world but where i live you have to mention on any damn form you fill.

Those pesky nieghbors!

alright who here has one of those pesky nieghbors to deal with?

i have mine across the street and boy are they a hoot.

they crank about everything.

Where I live now we have great neighbours but when I lived at my mother's house till ours was ready OMG her backyard neighbour (they didn't live there when I grew up, they were new) put in a pool and would scream at my mother every time the dogs made a noise, be it playing or barking, one yip and they were screaming. Now mind you, they cut down the trees at the back so they could enjoy their pool without leaves. The hubby must have weighed 400 pounds and wore, you guessed it a speedo!!!! YEUCKKKKK!!!

I started yelling back at them, told the guy one time that maybe the dogs wouldn't bark so much if they weren't soooo damn scared of seeing him in his suit!

They were also soooo noisy, between my dogs and their "swimming", if the dogs had barked constantly, it would have been quieter.

i came in peace, and was shit on by my aunts and a cousin.

The Wiccan Rede is "If it harm none, do what thou will" there are of course many different ways of saying it but that is the basic. And you have to think how far your actions will affect people.

do not believe in Satan (if you don't believe in God you can't believe in his alter ego)

do not howl at the moon (ok, ok, I do, just don't tell eh LMAO)

do not drink blood (that's vampires)

do love and respect the earth

try to live in a "positive" way

and many more things, the point in general is that most real witches don't think that things will go like they did for Samantha and Endora on Bewitched, or blink their eyes like Genie on I Dream of Genie.

There is no "governing body" for witches, covens govern themselves and solitaries only have themselves to answer to.

My grandad was a Mason and I can tell you that they are NOTHING like JW's. The origins of the Masonic Temples comes from witchcraft, that is why they are at "degrees". (That's what grandad said anyways)

happened to me today.

Happened to me today. There was this man, and he wasn't exactly following me, but seemed to "hang around" me while I was waiting to pay for a dress I was buying. He kept looking at my daughter (she is 2) and looked suspicious, like a wolf in the sheep pen. I wanted to snatch her up and hold her close, when alot more people came in line with me he buggered (LOL no pun intended) off.

It was just soooo creepy. He had that "Hi, I am your local pedophile" look to him. Was I being paranoid? Don't know but made sure I watched my back on the way to the car, that's for sure.

I too am a solitary witch. I would also suggest that you get the big blue book of witchcraft (it is big and blue, not called that) written by Raymond Buckland.

Putting spells on someone without their permission is HIGHLY looked down on by white witches as it always comes back "threefold", not necessarily three times as bad, but spiritually, physically and mentally, here or in the next life. Please think very hard before you cast any spell, especially if you are new to the craft. The best revenge is to live well, and try to forgive them for their discressions, for they only have to live with themselves, if you do something then you have to live with yourself and your conscience.
