OK, well I have been on AOL off and on for 10 years now and I LOVE IT! I use it even though we have another ISP. I hardly ever have problems (touch wood), no pop ups, easy to scan my email for viruses and a spam filter (finally).

our daughter is seven years old and the other day i heard her say to our 12 year old son.. "takes one to know one!

how do u clean your carpet?
we have beber, and own a hoover steam clenaing machine.
the saleman told us that b/c we had light colored beber, we could use bleach/water to clean it.
First clean the carpet with a good machine cleaner, then staple it to the ceiling, should stay clean for much longer LOL.
We got rid of our carpets, between dogs and kids, we stick with a patterned area rug, no one can tell the patterns from the permanent stains!

i've just been sorting out various paperwork and going through the filing cabinet.
as well as every pay advice i've ever had (20+ years worth back to '83) i also have every bank statement, every cheque stub and, erm ... a big wad of atm receipts going back at least 10 years !
i just can't stand to throw things away for fear that i may need them one day!!.
Simon, I too am a pack rat, to prove it hubby and I have a 3 car, 2 storey garage which is almost FULL of mostly my stuff. (I let him have some of his stuff there too, wasn't that nice of me?!)
I have all my mum's books and records, and my books, 2 cedar chests my grandad made a side board he made, curio cabinets he made, a desk and a gazillion other things I just can't seem to part with. Until recently I even had every note that had ever been passed to me in school, but it got ruined it was a dishwasher box filled with notes, from friends boyfriends, girlfriends, all friends, some were just a few lines, some were pages long (keep in mind we wrote these to each other during class so we could pass them in the hall and then meet at lunch or go to class together)

sometimes when i log on to jwd i go directly to "jokes and humor" because i know that there will be something there that will crack me up.
i love to laugh and i think humor is great therapy especially when alot of us have been through so much.
its great that we can make fun of ourselves and can find the humour in many of our experiences.

we all have to be careful about how much information we give out over the net,,it is wise and prudent in some areas,, but what about age???.
now i know many women don't like to admit they are over 29 what do you think is the percentage of correct profiles in reguards to age??.

See, I am happy to say that I am 32. It doesn't bother me one bit. If I had to do most of my 20's over I would not, getting older is a good thing.
