In Switzerland we didn't have a strict lockdown. But we managed to lower the infections that contact tracing is possible.
Europe is also widely testing, not only the risk groups.
Here in Switzerland the government showed real leadership, listened to science and showed empathy with the people.

Sadly at the moment Covid19 is growing exponentially in the US. Also the number of people having to go to hospital is growing rapidly.
Trumps health experts warn a longer time about this, but he is ignoring them, doing his rallies (many not wearing masks) and even suggesting to test less.
A big crowd yelling and screaming behind closed doors..... Thats the best way to spread the virus.
This will backfire leading to a huge loss in the elections. I wonder how he can place his narcissism over the wellbeing of the US nation.

There is hardly any tweet of this man, that has correct information in it.
it feels like we've really turned a corner, this morning especially.. the covid lockdowns are ending and medical systems were not overwhelmed plus there are existing treatments that have been proven to be effective (like hydroxychloroquine) and new vaccines and medicines in the pipeline.
a week or so ago the dems were dead against opening things up but since they are encouraging protests (which often turn violent) they can't continue that stance - thus proving trumps claim that it will soon be gone.
the majority of the deaths were politician-assisted (which i hope people are prosecuted for) so it's not the big risk we were led to believe and (over) reacted to.. the bls reported this morning that the us economy just added a huge number of jobs (most on record) and will undoubtedly benefit even more from a drive to source local production and supply chains going forwards.
Now it is getting clear, that this malaria medicament is not working for covid19, also not for prophylactic purposes.
On the contrary the side effects are bad.
Because Trump took it for prophylactic reasons doesn't make it beneficial. Neither infusing desinfection liquid nor some kind of sunlight therapy is useful, even though it comes from a "great" and "genius" mind.
