I am no apologist. I am an ex jw.
And I think sir82 and old hippie are right.
Not everyone is having feelings of anger when grieving.
Some choose to forgive.
seems to be a jw connection with the crash after all, but it wasn't the co-pilot as some had surmised.
the father of the only american male killed in the crash weighs in with a very mild assessment of the mass murderer, and doesn't seem overly concerned about his son, now deceased.. ---------------------------------------------------------------- .
"the parents of an american victim of the french alps plane crash said on 27 march they feel sadness for the parents of the co-pilot rather than feeling anger for the loss of their son.. robert tansill oliver, a jehovah's witness, lost his 37-year-old son robert oliver calvo in the germanwings plane crash.. "i don t feel anger.

Sir82 is absolutely right.
You don't know about the feelings of the involved.
Why do you say "No big deal?" This statement is so without respect for the grief of that man.
Not everyone is reacting with anger. I think that fathers reaction is much better.
Just learn to be more respectful.
i am most curious.
I didn't go to a kh meeting since about 4 months.
Today I saw a sister from my congregation on the street who wanted me to come back to meetings.
I told her. "I just don't feel comfortable at the meetings. I didn't lose faith in god I just don't feel comfortable at the meetings."

Wonderful.
It's great that you said to relax and figure it out together.
Make it sure that you will love each other and respect each other no matter what you 2 believe.
Spirituality might be a life long journey or search. Even with an atheistic or agnostic view you can be spiritual.
Belief in a God or a creative power can be separate from JW doctrine or bible doctrine.
I don't believe in the bible's description of god anymore, but I didn't give up faith in a higher creative power, who created everything in a way, that natural processes could develop life (for example by evolution).
I wish you 2 all the best.
in the life story of am3 i just had to laugh about the following.
"i must confess, however, that when i first learned the truth, i was not very tactful...".
ha ha ha... as if he is tactful today..
It gets even better:
"Since then, Jehovah has educated me, and I have become more tactful when I preach and teach."
So here we have it. Jehovah himself has educated him to talk about tight pants, colourful socks and human hotdogs ;-)
