for general information i am now 19 years old, and living by myself.
for the past 1 year (more like 1.5 years) i have been quietly fading out of the hypocrisy of this organization, but since i still live in the town i grew up in it has been hard, and filled with different challenges.

When I think about it now I wasted too much time with the elders.
In the Australian Royal Commission GB member G. Jackson said that you don't need to disassociate or be disfellowshipped. He said that it is possible to be inactive and remain so.
A friend of mine disassociated lately. After they got the letter the elders said he didn't need to take that step. He could have faded.
They are truly hypocrites.

It is impressive how courageous you stand in for your inner feelings and conscience. And for sure you are a great friend.
It is very good for you, that you do that at a young age and that you see the moral flaws in this HUMAN organisation.
So now to your case. If they didn't tell you it was a judicial committee, they are just trying to remind you, that you shouldn't have contact with a df'd person. Maybe they will ask some questions to test your loyalty.
They might ask in different ways. "Do you believe the Governing Body is the faithful and discreet slave?" or "Do you believe the organisation is guided by Jehovah?"
If it is not a judicial committee and you want to continue your fade just tell them kindly you don't want to discusd this matter with them.
They have no power at all over you.

i'd like share why i went from being a teenager determined to work in full time service for jehovah my entire life, to now being on here commiserating with you all.
i use to be an atheist but i now believe in god.
but i'm not preachy about god.

Thanks for your very moving story and welcome.
I was also df'd (apostasy) and went through a difficult divorce. But me and my little boy share the greatest feeling: love; even though his mum tried everything to reduce my time with him and indoctrinate him.
I wish you all the best and recommend to you that you try hard not to lose contact with your daughter and be close to her.
aside from obvious things that most people agree on, like theft being wrong and the importance of family, i can't think of a single thing i agree with the jws on, nothing that's specific to their religion anyway.
do you have any?.

hello there.. as some of you might remember i am keeping my facade up by "studying" with an elder.
this study however is more of a session where i put hard questions about the org, doctrine and so on, on the table.
the time has come for the next session in a couple of days, and i have quite frankly lost the will to keep digging up things that just shouldn't be happening.
Ask him why "leukozytes", white blood cells are forbidden for medical use of a JW.
On the other hand for newborn babies, there are more leukozytes in mothermilk than in the same amount of blood.
So now they mention telephone, text messages, letters, emails, social media.
In other words. Out of your love "completely" isolate your family member who already lost all his friends and might have a tendency to depression. Some in this state are even considering suicide.
But never ever take their phone call or reply to their text message.
It is as to erase a person.
To all those who are in these situations. You can be proud of you to have had the courage to get out. And we all here in this forum care for you.
