oh and RayPublisher: GLAD TO BE CANADIAN!! In the country and my province, recording conversations is PERFECTLY LEGAL... as far as I know, all of Canada is a "one party" 'state'... so if I know I am recording it... legally I am OK ;)

I managed to avoid them!! And for added bonus, I went out with my mom and gave her TWO things to think about:
I asked her if she thought she would be a Muslim if she had been born in Saudi Arabia and not in the Americas. She said, at first "well, Jehovah does pull people out of there and makes them JW's right?" I said, "really?"... she said, "I really don't know... I guess I would be a Muslim"...
I was like
The second thing was, in previous conversations, I learnt that she was really mistreated in her childhood by a lot of people. The only ones who treated her well were.... drumroll please...
NOT JW'S... never were, never have been...
When I asked her if she talked to the only two nice aunties she had (one which essentially taught her her morals and the other who encouraged her to get a better life, not get married to a drunk or womanizer husband)... she said one of them died, but the other one is alive. I asked her if she talks to her. She said, "no, I don't associate with ones who are not JW's... because they are bad influence!"... then I asked her, "What do you mean?"
"Well, last time I called her, she said that she prayed to God that her husband wasn't in hell. I told her there was no such thing as hell, and she got mad and hung up on me."
"Mom, are you SERIOUS??? How is that ever going to affect your faith as a JW? How is THAT a sign of a bad influence? Are you REALLY going to be mean to the ONE person who helped you out in your childhood? Are you REALLY that ungrateful?"
Her eyes widening...
"Really, if I help her economically, what if she gives the money to the Catholic Church, or her prostitute daughter"?
"Mom, how she uses her money is NONE of your business! You still have to pay the government taxes, whether you agree with war or not!"
"Ok... it's really fear of my mother and what other people will say... I have always said that I will visit her when my mom dies"...
"Mom, how will you feel if she dies before grandma?"
"Really bad... You are right, son... I should go and visit her next time I go to (our home country)."

Hi all, THANKS!! I don't know much of you but I feel a growing "cariño" (endearment) to all...
Just to let you know, operation DODGE AND AVOID is ON!
So with the marvels of technology (so simple as a toggle on-off on the iPhone), I learnt how to not send my caller ID for all calls...
Plus my landline company offers a service that blocks calls from certain people... You bet the elders of who I have their numbers for, are blocked.
Plus I recently changed my cell phone number and haven't even given it to my mom or dad... Just so they have real deniability... They do NOT know my phone number.
I called the elder with my blocked caller ID, left a VM, I can't today... maybe reschedule? (thinking about it, I shouldn't have said let's reschedule... Just sorry can't today!)

So today, two elders from a congregation I was in two years ago came by the house. They said they wanted to talk to me about things that they have heard, and that they want to talk to me very quickly, as soon as possible. Perhaps before this week ends.
I don't know what to do!! I sent a text to Jgnat and she recommended delaying... till the CO is gone (apparently it is CO-visit motivated).
I don't want to not be in the house that moment since my mom will be there, and eventually I will have to face them. My mom has her meeting tomorrow at 7:30 so she will be out of the house around 7.
They are going to come around 6. Do I stall them? Call them and say Thursday is not going to be possible? Do I pretend like I need to go shopping with my mom, and only drop her off at her KH at 7PM44
I called my dad and he recommended just talking to them, and if possible, denying everything. The problem is, I am 99% sure it was because I told TTATT to a married woman 4 months ago (she was a week from getting baptized), she did not get baptized because of me, and the husband was mad!! Then I talked to her another time and she asked me to just let her make her own investigation. She hasn't talked to me since.
The problem is that our conversations were recorded on FB and whatsapp. Jgnat recommended saying that someone impersonated me.
Any suggestions?
My dad agrees with me now, he says that even if I get DF'd, he will never stop talking to me, and he will try to wake up my mom. I tried giving him Hassan's book but he had technical problems (he is out of countru).
I really need to work through that book... it is a matter of time before I am DF'd or something... I want to delay things as much as possible, read Hassan's book and do an intervention if necessary with my mom.
It's the beginning of the end, folks...
If I am out, like JWFacts, I will make it my goal to spread TTATT as far and wide as I can... and help as many people to release their loved ones from this horrible cult, this horrible lie!!

It's been a bad week.

spent the next five days in the hospital, we've got her back at home now and i think things are settling down.
i'm way behind on my sleep and a couple of writing projects, hopefully i will get back to normal life soon..

Still transcribing... 7 pages in, half hour of audio (of a total of 1 hour), incredibly amazing insight into my mom.
Just to give you a tidbit:
I learnt that:
EVERY person who helped my mom and made a positive mark in her very bleak childhood: NOT a JW.
EVERY person who made her life miserable: JW's.
So, If need be, I can hopefully wake her up by arguing that Jehovah will kill the people who were nice to her and keep alive the people who were mean to her, just because group A is not JW's and group B is...

I got a chance to thoroughly investigate the topic of mind control with my mother, without her getting upset at all, and I managed to record the entire conversation. It lasted about an hour. I have a copy on my iPhone, a copy on my computer, and a copy on the cloud. It is like, a super-mega-important file for me, it is so amazing!!
It is late here, so later today I will write about it. It all started with the movie "12 Years a Slave"... got us both right into the topic.
