Star Trails
by ILoveTTATT inone of the things that i have only done once... but i would love to do again and again until i perfect the technique, is called star trails.. my camera is a canon 60d.
there is a way to "hack" the canon dslr's so that they get some amazing functionalities, such as taking a picture just by clapping (really cool for when you want to take a picture and no one is able to push the button) and taking pictures at certain intervals.. you can read more about this "hacking" on .

Lunar eclipse April 14th 2014

According to the Blood Moon Prophecy popularized by Christian pastors John Hagee and Mark Blitz, the April 15 eclipse will mark bring about significant change. [1] Starting in 2008, Blitz began teaching that the Second Coming of Jesus would occur at the end of the tetrad. He equates Joel 2:31, which says the moon will turn to blood "before the great and dreadful day of the LORD comes", with the eclipse. Hagee takes a softer stance, saying only that the tetrad is a sign of something significant. [6]
Writing for Earth & Sky Bruce McClure and Deborah Byrd point out that the referenced verse also says the "sun will be turned into darkness", an apparent reference to a solar eclipse. They note that since the Jewish Calendar is lunar, one sixth of all eclipses will occur during Passover or Tabernacles. Furthermore, there have been 62 tetrads since the first century AD and that eight of them have coincided with both the feasts. Thus, the event is not as unique as Hagee and Blitz imply. Additionally, three of the four eclipses in the tetrad will not even be visible in biblical homeland of Israel, casting further doubt on Hagee and Blitz's intrepretation. [7]
According to Christian Today, only a "small group of Christians" see the eclipse as significant. [8]

Hi Gypsy Sam... with all due respect, I disagree with that statement.
Here is a comparison of a picture of the same place taken with an iPhone (I can't recall if the HDR was on but it wouldn't have improved much), and with my camera and then doing the HDR process:

Yeah... the HDR from the iphone doesn't quite work... Same with the one on the ipad. It takes some time to make a great HDR.
Do you have an actual standalone digital camera?
