An Idea... Related to the Blood Doctrine
by ILoveTTATT ini would like to compile a list (and then later a table) of many procedures and diseases that currently need blood or blood is recommended for it.. .
the point of the list/table would be to pinpoint things where blood is still absolutelu necessary or considered to be very risky if you don't take it.. .
for example a leukemia..

New to The Jehovahs Witness Faith and need some help

i am very excited and hungry for the truth and have not missed a meeting or study since the memorial.
we do about 2 bible studies a week.

I have to say, my experience with the YMCA and the witnesses is that it IS a no-no, but certain people, in certain locations, don't frown upon it as they "should".
A JW sister in the Spanish hall in my city went to the gym at the YMCA. When she told me, I told her JW's were not supposed to do that, and she just disregarded what I told her.
However, I highly doubt that if elders knew about it, they wouldn't have said anything to her...

JW Literature... Lots of it... what to burn and what to keep?
by ILoveTTATT ini have lots and lots of watchtower literature... and i don't know what could be useful in the future to have as a reference or as a keeper.
i am definitely keeping the 1993 and 1994 bound volumes of the awake!
(no, we are not false prophets... down in the same page, the generation of 1914 will not pass... also the youths who put god the watchtower first).

Yeah but here's the thing: The CD has stuff that's been updated. For example the "Truth" book does not have the embarassing 1975 references.
