  "Hi, I moved during the past week and searched 21 Kingdom Halls, not including Bethel. I could only obtain a picture of a mast and a waving flag. The picture of the mast (with no flag) is of a Hall that's at Avenida México 2789 in the neighborhood of Puente Alto, Provincia Cordillera, Región Metropolitana, Chile, and was taken on the 21st of September, 2014 at around 6PM."

  Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses With Flag in Chile.

  In Chile, for its Fiestas Patrias celebrations, the flag must be flown in every building, otherwise, a fine is paid. The fact that the Jehovah's Witnesses in Chile are flying the flag in Chile is against what they are normally known for, that is, political neutrality, and shows a double standard. In other countries, other Jehovah's Witnesses have died for refusing to purchase a political card, or saluting Hitler, but in Chile, they prefer displaying the flag than paying a fine.

  The video is of the Kingdom Hall located at Sebastopol 378, comuna de San Joaquín, Provincia de Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile. It was taken on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014, around 2PM.

  The author of the video has never been a Jehovah's Witness, and wishes to remain anonymous.

  New Article on BEARDS and Attire of Jehovah's Witnesses

  i have had requests to add an article about beards and jehovah's witnesses.

  it is interesting that there is virtually no statement that says a witness cannot have a beard, yet universally they do not have beards.

  i have scoured quotes from all the threads on jwn, all references to beard on the cd watchtower library, and copies of elders letters that i have.
