My money is on the rennagade-outsider in the grey/gray suit. He's not in uniform.
Good catch Gladiator! I wonder if he did it on purpose or if he didn't get the the Picture Day Dress Code Memo?

Witnesses: Why The 1/19/14 WT Lesson Is Dangerous
by Apognophos intoday's watchtower lesson touched on the history of hezekiah's reign, and then made a surprising modern-day application.
having used my time before the meeting to research the underlying material instead of highlighting my magazine, i personally found this to be an upsetting study, and decided to put this warning here in the hopes that some active witnesses read it.. the most important thing i want to say to you is that the actual flow of events in this bible account were severely misrepresented, and that there are some disturbing implications in the distortions that were made.
1. hezekiah's father ahaz makes himself a vassal to assyria out of fear of their overwhelming might (2 kings 16:7, 8).. 2. upon becoming king, hezekiah rebels against assyria (2 kings 18:7).

Many who are trapped may use acusitory language. They have bee indoctrinated to do so, they have been taught everything on the internet is a lie if it's going against the WT.
I agree. The GB is hyping the apostate talk more and more. It's being covered in every, assembly, convention etc. They are demonizing the term "apostate" I'm not sure how to combat this yet but I think it's important to differentiate yourself from the JW definition, if you are trying to help someone out. Hopefully, in some way this will start to open the eyes of the one you are helping to see that there is something up with the WT need to dehumanize former members.
I know for me when, I first came to this site and read real raw stories from current and former members, they did not fit the definition of apostate as I knew it. That set off a roller coaster of emotions causing me to question what really is going on?

It depends on who's definition of apostate you are using. Since he is most likely asking you in the JW sense, you could've answered, "the WT defines apostate as (describe as Tim Hooper did above). Since, I'm not trying to draw loyal JW's to follow false teachings etc. the answer to your question is no.
if you want you could add something like, "however, according to (Webster or whatever source) anyone that leaves their former religion is considered an apostate. So in this sense, yes I am, along with anyone else that has departed from their former religion."
