i attended the xxxx congregation in the mid-1980s as a teenaged unbaptized publisher.
EVEN IF errors were made and decisions get reversed, my personal response to the entire situation would not include cozying back up to a family that shunned me and may now be trying to reach out just because the WT corporate bosses say it's okay now. People like that need to sit with the consequences of what they have done.
That's easy for me to say. I have absolutely no love anymore for the people who used to be family.

i have said that i am agnostic... and i am... but i still believe that there's someone out there looking out for me.... anyways... on sunday i think that something coming very short of a miracle happened:.
i got a chance to thoroughly investigate the topic of mind control with my mother, without her getting upset at all, and i managed to record the entire conversation.
it lasted about an hour.
I just looked at the trailer for that movie. Wow! I need to find that at Blockbuster.

i had a chance to drop a bomb on a 'bro' that i have known many years.
you should'a been there.. (this is the second time in less than 2 months i have dropped this particular bomb on a bro and in this manner).

jehovah, please allow our house to sell so we can go preach in another country where the need is great.. jehovah please help me get that job where i dont have to work shiftwork anymore and i can make all the meetings.. jehovah we need $200 so we can go to the convention, please look after us.. ah yes, the prayers of the faithful one.
how we look at these and feel our hearts swell with love for our god.
many of us at one time or another have asked for things such as these.
Back when I was trying to get reinstated I tried and failed for 5 years to quit smoking. Prayed my fool butt off. I was trying to be a good boy - there was no reason why God should withhold holy spirit. Then one day I joined a smoking cessation class being offered by the local health department and they gave me a prescription for Chantix. I had my last cigarette about one week later.
Nevertheless, it always made me uncomfortable to give credit to the counseling or the Chantix.
"How did you finally quit, Zoos?"
"God's holy spirit, you know."
I'm not prepared to write off the possibility that God helps out in some way to help a person get on his feet spiritually, but stating that Their zeal for the Christian ministry gives powerful evidence [of] holy spirit is a pretty far fetched conclusion.
