Has anyone been barred from K.H. or convention?

have you ever heard of an abuse victim being disfellowshipped, then barred from coming to the kingdom hall or to a convention?

this threat has been made to a good friend of mine here in the u.s. can they (the elders) really call the police to have someone removed who is just sitting there quietly?

Here in England, they can't.

Law dictates they can do nothing about it... don't know about the US.

I'd threaten to kill each and every elder if they ever made such a claim to me.

Anti-Americanism

how do you define someone as anti-american?

if you strongly disapprove of, say, america's foreign policies, yet basically have an affection for american people, does this still make you an anti-american?

is it possible that people are being accused of being anti-american inaccurately?

American foriegn policy stinks, along with puppet Bush and his administration.

In spite of this, I would much rather like a McDonalds or Burger King in my neighbourhood than a huge statue of some crazy Ummah or Islamic dictator.

We slag off the yanks, but i'd much rather want them calling the shots than some Ayatollah basing everything on a religious textbook that leaves us back in the dark age.
