  as in ....you post something you feel is rather innocuous, or sincere, or perhaps revealing something rather private and honest and candid, and someone blows you away with a nasty comment?.

  i am not speaking of heated debates.

  if one participates in those, one expects to receive passionate replies which may sometimes hurt.

  But remember hun, people that do this resort to the lowest kind of all argumentation :

  an ad hominem attack ;

  which is, rather than attacking the argument of the person, it is an attack on the person.

  I have noticed these comments fly around, but remember that any comment that speaks anything against you is unworthy, baby.
