  A not so loving phone call....

  i recently got a letter in my pillar box asking me to attend a meeting at the k.h.

  i ignored the " kind" request.. this was folloed up by a " loving" phone call with the question " do i believe in the organisation" my reply.

  " anyway what pissed me off was during the " loving" phone call i realized there was another " brother" listning in.

  What allows parents to shun their children ?

  my son, went to college and got his bachelors degree.

  he started his own anmation company about two years ago, and it really has taken off.. while my wife and i were witnesses, we both received grief about allowing our son to go to college, but we stood up for him and backed his decision to attend 110%.. anyway, this past week he finally closed on a very nice, neat condiminium .. and while he is getting ready to move out on his own, i have quite a few feelings of sadness,as a parent, seeing him move on is kinda rough, but realizing that this is a very good thing for him makes it easier.

  he will only be about 7 miles away.

  we get plenty of company men passing through our circuit, often filled with misinformation and lugging around a suitcase of guilt, they bring more guilt to the weak while praising the braggart pioneers and slapping the "righteous over much" elders.

  why are the wrong people getting praise in this distorted community?

  i know for a fact many of the elders i served with have issues with alcoholism, when "brother guilt" brought his emotional hurricane through our circuit, i had the chance to eat and help pay for his "seven shots of tequila", both him and his wife were not immune to over-indulgences.

  Alcohol is extremely popular among the witnesses. Maybe it's because they are not allowed to do drugs..

  i haven't been to a meeting in over a year, and as you know as soon as you stop attending meetings/fieldservice the "conditional" love becomes more apperant.

  the coordinating elder starts off by saying how much he loves and misses me, etc.

  i ask him, when was the last time you called or texted me?

  Of the 140 people in my last congregation.. I had only even been to 3 of their homes. And that included only one of the 7 elders, I had no clue where the others even lived.
  
  It's a almost a year since any of them last saw me.. do you think I will be getting a visit any time soon?

  ... not "why does this happen" or even "how do we prevent it" but "here's todays locations and body counts".. so sad that some people just went to the shops and now their families will never see them again.. seems like it is an insolveable problem for america..

  It's not the guns. Nothing to do with guns. America has been gun toting since it's formation. No one was shooting up anything. What's different today? A medicated population could be a major factor.

  Before 'Witness My Fury' started the ignorant insulting, my simple purpose was to show that not all theories scientific or conspiracy are wrong or as nutty as some oh so intelligent and very rashly rational folk would believe.

  There are countless instances when these very 'nutty' theories have been proved to be very true and proved as fact.

  That's all. Pretty simple I thought. What is it with people in here? Why the need to always attack and insult others non stop? Accusing people of being mental, nut cases, smoking drugs etc.

  Disgusting behaviour. There are some very unhealthy and nasty individuals hovering in this place.

  I'm not sure who is more mental.. someone who has an open mind to all kinds of thought and ideas.. or someone who spent over half their life living a lie in the Borg. I am pretty confident I know which of the two needs some serious counselling.
