  I know 2 of the Elders on the Ray Franz JC

  when i read coc, i was stunned that the 2 elders (theotis french & rob dibble) were on ray franz judcial committee.

  i have known these men for over 20 years having done rbc and convention work with them.

  they are still elders today which means they were in their early 30's(which is unheard of for a case of this importance to have inexperienced elders to sit on) on this committee.. without revealing myself, i have never tried(but have wanted to), ask them about their on having to judge a former gb member.. then out of the blue, about a year ago, i was mentioning how hard it is trying to get younger ones to volunteer to one of these elders, and he says"this is nothing compared to to sitting on the committee that had to disfellowship ray franz".

  I'm wondering what kind of response you think you'd get if you went back to all those that you studied with and tried to reverse what you had taught them?

  The response you get is irrelevant. Your not doing it to make points and win prizes. You are doing it to make amends. You sold them a false dream and a lie. It's your duty. It's the only right thing to do. The same zeal and dedication one had in bringing them in should now be used to bring them out. Or at least give them a choice and one hell of an apology.

  Not telling them the 'truth about the truth' is even worse then the first deception.

  It's easy to go to someone in private and apologise and shake their hand.

  How about these ex-elders now go to all the bible studies they had over the years and undo the false teachings they drilled into peoples minds.

  Now that would deserve a pat on the back.

  Unless you have been in my situation, it is hard to explain the mindset of a former longtime Elder(21 years), Regular Pioneer (14 years), one was at the top of his game, handling many responsibities on the Circuit and District level, serving on over 50 Judicial cases, including Appeal Committees, various Elder Schools (including Teaching parts in these schools), and even spending a week at Patterson for the COBE Kingdom Ministry School. I could go on but some of you guys are wearing me out!

  Jumping cursor: what to do?

  on my imac laptop i am typing away and suddenly my words appear on a different line, often within the text of an earlier sentence.

  it is nonstop and the tech advice online is difficult for me to understand/apply.

  never has occurred on my dell pc.. has this happened to you?.

  There are several possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps until it's resolved.

  1. Follow the instructions in this support article.

  2. Open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and check for unknown or forgotten input devices. Disconnect any USB input devices that you aren't using.

  3. Boot in safe mode and test, preferably without launching any third-party applications. If you don't have the problem in safe mode, but it comes back when you reboot as usual, stop here and post your results. If you can't boot in safe mode, do the same. If you booted in safe mode and there was no change, go on to the next step.

  4. Reset the System Management Controller.

  5. If you're using a Bluetooth trackpad, investigate potential sources of interference, including USB 3 devices.

  6. A swollen battery in a MacBook Pro or Air can impinge on the trackpad from below and cause erratic behavior. If you have trouble clicking the trackpad, this is likely the reason. The battery must be replaced without delay.

  7. There's a report that a (possibly defective) Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter can cause the built-in trackpad of a MacBook to behave erratically. If you're using such an adapter, disconnect it and test.

  8. There's also a report of erratic cursor movements caused by an external display that was connected but not turned on.

  9. If none of the above applies, or if you have another reason to think that your computer is being remotely controlled, remove it from the network by turning off Wi-Fi (or your Wi-Fi access point), disconnecting from a Bluetooth network link, and unplugging the Ethernet cable or USB modem, whichever is applicable. If the cursor movements stop at once, you should suspect an intrusion.

  10. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine and/or external trackpad tested.

  They continue to drop like flies

  yes, the jws continue to bleed their young ones, so far in my local kh 3 were dfd, one girl just turned 18 this month and packed her bags and said goodbye to the cult and her cultish parents, another young 18 year old man decided to have a non-jw girlfriend and decided to stop attending and is no longer a witness.

  they continue to leave and wt leaders dont give a damn.

  they dont do anything to help kids be successful and live a healthy life.. .

  Many here claim to never consider skin colour an issue.. that maybe so. But the world very much does conseider it an issue and we don't live in this forum we all live in the world.

  Here are some of the testimonies: "I don't have any trouble admitting that I'm a racist. I think it's absurd to try to fight with that. I grew up in this society, I was conditioned by it, I think internally in my psyche I have grounded and rooted those attitudes and I see them all the time."

Part of being white is just not in any way acknowledging what it means to be white.   How did the ancestors get turned into "white" people? "You can only be something if there's something else to negate so I guess we became white because there are bunch of other races to set us off.   Child abuse image investigation leads to 660 arrests

  more than 650 suspected paedophiles have been arrested this morning in the uk as part of a six-month operation targeting people accessing child abuse images online.. the national crime agency (nca) said the 660 arrested included doctors, teachers, scout leaders, care workers and former police officers.. more than 400 children have been protected as a result, the agency said.. arrests were made across the uk and the majority of those held had no previous contact with police.. the nca said 39 were of those arrested are registered sex offenders.. charges already brought range from possessing indecent images of children to serious sexual assault.. the nca stressed that none of those arrested is a serving or former mp or member of the government.. examples of those arrested include:.

  a doctor, who has been charged and remains in custody over images of child abusea grandfather who had access to 17 grandchildren, two of whom alleged abuse by the man.

  he was taken into custodya foster carer, who was caring for a 12 year old, was arrested.
