JW Family...UPDATE! Please advise!
by Ghost of Esmeralda inmy ex husband just told me that he will continue to facilitate visitation between my child and my jw family who is shunning me (see my other thread "i didn't think they could find another way to hurt me but...") he says i'm the one with the problem and that i should be "ashamed of myself".
it's not like i thought he'd cooperate, but for him to stand there and tell me that he will allow my sister full access to my child and there's not a damn thing i can do (and probably, legally, that's right) makes my blood boil.
makes me just want to swallow every fricking pill in the house.

Truth is we give the JW emotional terrorists to much power. People who are Dfted and shunned need to either play by the demigods rules or cut off contact. You can not reason with terrorists. They will not be ethical because they are immoral. Have you read "Crisis of Conscience" and "Releasing the Bonds." You should. The reason that JW's are afriad to read the books is that they don't want the truth they want to be right. They want to be God. Jehovah Witnesses will do what they can to interject themselves into you life. You can get counciling for you daughter and yourself. You can start to explain what a cult is and what mind control is. And more important what it is not. There are many people even here who can not accept that the Jehovah Witnesses are an evil cult. They don't want to say that because they were once in it. So they make up all kinds of excuses as to what causes them to be the way that they are. They are the way they are because they are evil. And that is the truth. To many people can't face their past so they do nothing to improve their future.

Any group who would interfere with the reporting of a crime to authorities or cover it up is not just visious but rabbid. That does not mean that every person is evil as an individual but as a collective is party to the act. Any individual who interfears with the reporting of a crime should be imprisoned. I am talking about Elders or others who use their influence and power to allow a threat to society to remain at large. That person is visious. JW's get away with behavior that would not be tolerated in mainstream society.
People are visious for numerous reasons. But does the need to defend the good name of Jah make some JW's visious? How could anyone with experience honestly say no?

If you want the mags there is a thing called the "mail." Even the boondocks of the US they still get it. If it hurts Wallyworld to sell it don't, if it helps your sales do. That is freedom people its not your store and they don't have to care about you or what you want. And you don't have to shop there. If you want the product and they don't want to carry it they loose the sale. Their loss. You could even try to open your own store and sell what you think that people want to buy. My dad warned me against taking a 'hard line' with my sister.
In my "hardline" with my JW family I was told the same thing. And "You had better stop messing with things that you do not understand." I also was told that "I am taking away their 1st Amendement and I had better think about that." Last was "are you so cold hearted that I would take my kids family away from them." (Its not from them its for them. But the JW's just don't get it.)
Gosh this thread takes me down memory lane.
Essie the screaming yelling and threating that my father in law did after I drew the line including debunking the false doctrine of the WT was done in front of my children and my wife.
My 3 year old son goes to a top notch Chistian Acadamy. There he is learing the principles of Christ's teachings at a childs level. Every day my JW family did something to make my wife cry. Every day. They worked in our business and it sucked. But after that stupid confrontation my son said that his Grandpa needs to say he is sorry. Which he would not. Then when the phonecalls started (the new best friend thing) he said that if these people keep hurting Mom then we need to tell them that they have to go away and leave us alone. (so simple) I said O K. He then said "I guess we are alone then." And I said no that we are a family you me mom and your little sister that is in moms tummy. (Yes imagine being pregnant with all this Essie. My wife started having problems even bleeding they stressed her so bad I really thought we were going to loose the baby) I told him that we are a family that I love him with all my heart and I will never never stop loving him no matter what. He said THATS RIGHT WE ARE A FAMILY! And he has never asked about them again. Kids are Gods representatives ON Earth. People who try to corrupt them piss me off.

They take their Bibles and bash each other into unconsciousness. JW's hang pets and practice torture on the elderly. They are known for their depravity and mutilation practices.

But it would be very apathetic to forget all of the childern raped as well the wives and childern that have been and are being abused both mentally and physically inside who believe that they have no where to turn to. That is pretty visious to me. Which the solution is it needs to be changed to where these crimes are not covered up and people feel free to seek help when they need it. (For a start) There is a big world that will help them if those inside will not.

When I told my JW family that I love them but their behavior will not be tolerated any more and they will no longer have private visits with my children because they can not be trusted they did not like it. In fact when they learned that they can no longer have any contact that is not under their terms they became very crazed. But I did not play the game. Just so you know I don't hurt anymore. I can't say that I am apathetic to your situation because I know that kind of hurt. I wish that I could say the magic word that would take away the pain that they inflicted. But I can't. I can only tell you that I have seen it and lived it. It hurts. But if they loved you and if they loved your daughter then they could not have done it. They are sick yes but that is no excuse. As long as they are in the organization they will never understand what they do hurts people and it is not OK. I need more people like you to stand up with me. To tell them no more. If we do then eventually the organization will change it's ways or die. I believe that and am OK with either one. But as long as we battle on their terms we will help not ourselves, them, or our children. Them doing this to my wife is one thing. But I will not have my children in this evil game. I will never let my family be divided willingly. I hope that somehow some of what people say here gives you some strength. You are not alone and this is not something that just happened to you. It is something that goes on everywhere all the time inside that group. It is a sick society and should not be rewarded with toleration.
