  1689 English Bill of rights; Foundation for the 2nd amendment of the USA. "Two trees of the same roots taking different paths," as to the rights of self defense, related to crime in the two countries. You spout off about how the USA is a bunch of gun tooting crazies, "a wild bunch." That's not true there are strict guidlines to lawful possession and use of guns and self defense in America. I say that English laws are to favorable to criminals and penalize the victim for not staying a victim. If you are not going to debate that and instead try to slam me then piss off. My not having traveled the world is not the issue.

  well i'm going away for some days to get in some fly fishing.

  if anyone is going to be around bennett springs state park in missouri, that's where i will be found till tuesday...and this is my prey...come on down...i'm sure anyone of you would have no problems finding me...just look for the dreadlocked sassquatch w/the fly rod and wearing waders.. .

  i'm hoping to come home with a cooler full...maybe have an apostate fish fry from hell.... sincerely,.

  Along the lines of surrendering personal protection for "societies" protection I have also heard that the police in the UK will only investigate crime that has a high probablity of solving. Which means if you are the target of a criminal you can't defend yourself and the police are not going to do crap.

  Wait, am I talking about the UN or the UK? Oh well, what's the difference.

  "Guns and Violence:The English Experience." Great Book on how English desire to restrict the rights of the individual to defend themselves has turned the country, "into one of the world's most violent nations."

  Anything found on your person for personal protection can get you arrested in the UK. You do not have/do not need the right to protect yourself. "Society" will protect you. If you try to protect yourself i.e. carry ANY type of weapon you are a danger to society.

  Sound like the BBC case against you know who & Iraq? I.e. The UN means that, no country has the right/no country has the need, to protect itself. Society [UN] will protect.

  She wrote in "Reason" magazine that you are six times more likely to be mugged in London than in New York City.

  "It is never reasonable to use violence or force to protect property in England. Any use of force will be considered excessive."

  Is safe to say that Brits have surrendered their williness to protect themselves?

  Eng your stats are for one year while S P's are for 15? hmmmmmmm which do I go for? Who is bias?

  The UK has given criminals the right to do anything while the people don't even have the right to call for help. (They teach "call the police", because no one is supposed to help you.) Stop and think about Americans, just about all have the right to firearms, and look at how small the number of deaths are. Fact, the stricter the gun control the higher the crime. The more freedom to C&C (conceal and carry) the lower the crime rate. Simon said that "Americans only own guns to blow each others brains out." That is such a stupid comment. No one comments that in America 500,000 crimes are detered by the use of guns to protect people from criminals. Attempts of a rape upon a female are sucessful 30% of the time when she is unarmed. However, when an armed female who is skilled with her firearm is attacked that number falls to 3%. I just fail to understand why Brits support the criminals who rape their spouces, girlfriends and daughters. I pity their protecting the criminal and making themselves helpless when they are prey. I'm glad I don't live there.

  now, the war is over, the weapons were not used and of course have not been found.. how threatening could they be if they did not even use them when being invaded by a massive force (of the countries they hate)?!

  perhaps, as many suspect, they didn't use them because they didn't have them?.

  now we're being told that we'll have to be patient and give them time to find them.

  Pepper remember when you were very young and you were taught that the rules were the rules and you must obey them. Well, when we grow up we learn that some things are wrong and must be opposed. The JW program is wrong. It distroys peoples faith in God and each other. It is evil. That word can discribe Hitler or, simply being misguided; It is when a thing is socially harmful. JW policy uses love as a weapon, a tool to hammer down any nail. It should be opposed. And because it is central to the doctrine the religion as a whole it must be opposed until it is changed. Just like the program to protect pedophiles. One reason I am here and educate myself is that I do what I can when I come accross people who have been trampled by JW zelotish rightousness. We are the kings of our own misery. We decide how much pain to endure and how we react. For me sharing my experiences is not something of pain or reliving a nightmare. It is letting people who are waking up for the first time that it's OK, they are not alone. It's a shock when you find out that everything you believe is an illusion. It's a comfort when those who call themselves "elders" no longer have power over you. It's good to have friends.

  i know right now you are sitting behind a computer, so you would be considered (at least by me and millions of others world over) to be... well... lucky.

  here is where you react with your personal problems which are rather petty (sorry not trying to be rude here) life situations that amount to a hill of beans, barring extreme life circumstances, compared to say, that one guy who wears rags and talks to himself on the corner of main and broadway.

  I agree with you Simon.

  To make being homeless a crime is to force the government to deal with it. No one should die in the cold of Westen Civilization. In America it is of the worst of shames imo. In my college years I was very active in the soup kitchens of my area. Now the program is much larger and I am not needed. But I think it would be good for everyone who wishes [it] to experience what I did.

  First let's point out MARK AKA SEARCHFORTRUTH's obession with posting whole articles that people even when scrolled over peices get picked up. Simon raked me over the coals for countering the propaganda posts. But again I doubt he will pull this link free horrid crime on JWD.

  Second, yes France sucks. My grandparents are immigrants from there. They are rude and arrogant. Their economy sucks, their politics suck, and they sell nuclear capabilites to the likes of Saddam Hussien. However they have good wine, cheese, and a cool sounding language. I'd never pour out my case of their product I have. (let's not get carried away)

  Brits are cool, and plenty are hotties. I love Simon of Teen-Idol. I think he is the average rude Brit, but they trust the lies of the BBC. I got a call to watch Fox today. They are in full swing countering the BBC bias poll program. The London Times representative backs up everything I said to Simon of JWD about the poll's questions being wrong to even ask. They biased the poll and they meant to. The Royal Navy of Britian pulled the BBC from their ships over the bias. But like the Times also said, how can opinion and, popular opinion be considered bias? That leads to another group of issues. How can Simon still run his I hate Fox news mantra and the BBC is as clean as a watchtower is to a witness mantra? You can't have it both ways.
