THESE ARE LIBERALS WE ARE TALKING ABOUT!
DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Jerry Springer says his fame could help revitalize the Democratic Party if he's elected to the U.S. Senate next year.
"I could be an incredible voice in the Senate," Springer said Saturday at a meeting of the Ohio Young Democrats. "Why? Because the media will cover me every single day."

Took a Severe Beating Last Night.
by Yizuman inlast night some whacko beat me up while i was in bed.
nothing is broken, but i'll be seriously bruised for a while.
my left shoulder blade took the most of the beating when i had huddled face down, with legs tucked underneath and arms wrapped around my head and ribs for protection.

Yuz, I'm sorry you were assulted. I don't know the whole story but I can't imagine the reasoning that someone has to attack another person in bed. It's your choice to press charges or not, but it sounds like this guy has no business in society. I hope that the next person that he attacks is not seriously injured. And I hope they decide to stop him.

Think of this Guy's would you be able to give child birth?

It's a freaky world we live in. Just because we think it not possible today who knows what tommarow will bring.
I do not believe the the "glass ceiling" I do not believe in "affirmative action." I do not believe in "quotas." I am not concerned with things being identical. But if someone can do the job, if they are the best suited for the job, l then they should have it. I don't care if someone is black, or white, male, or female, gay, or strait. I want the best person doing the job. What I find troubling is that it seems that the opposite is the concern in many places. I'd call it "diversity over merit." Women are entitled to equal status and protection under the law and that means in perception too. In the relm of parenting that should include parenting too.
I've suggested some books on these issues that meant something to me.

"THE GOOD WIFE GUIDE"
Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready on time for his return from work. This is a way of letting him know that you have been thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospect of a good meal (especially his favorite dish) is part of the warm welcome needed. Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you will be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh looking. He has just been with a lot of work weary people. Be a little gay and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it. Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives. Gather up school books, toys , papers etc... and then run a dust cloth over the tables. During the colder months, you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order and it will give you a lift, too. After all, catering for his comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction . Minimize all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer or vacuum. Try to encourage the children to be quiet . Be happy to see him. Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him. Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first, remember his topics of conversation are more important than yours. Make the evening his. Never complain if he comes home late or goes out to dinner or other places of entertainment without you. Instead, try to understand his world of strain and pressure and his very real need to be at home and relax. Try to make sure your home is a place of peace, order and tranquillity where your husband can renew himself in body and spirit. Don't greet him with complaints and problems. Don't complain if he's late home for dinner, or even stays out all night. Count this as minor compared to what he might have gone through that day. Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or have him lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him. Arrange the pillow and offer to take off his shoes . Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice. Don't ask him questions about his actions or question his judgment or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. Once he has had a chance to have his evening meal, clear the dishes and wash up promptly . If your husband should offer to help decline his offer as he may feel obliged to repeat this offer and after a long working day he does not need the extra work. Encourage your husband to pursue his hobbies and interests and be supportive without seeming to encroach. If you have any little hobbies yourself try not to bore him speaking of these, as women's interests are often rather trivial compared to men's. At the end of the evening, tidy the home ready for the morning and again think ahead to his breakfast needs . Your husband's breakfast is vital if he is to face the outside world in a positive fashion. Once you have both retired to the bedroom prepare yourself for bed as promptly as possible. Whilst feminine hygiene is of the utmost importance, your tired husband does not want to queue for the bathroom as he would have to do for his train. But remember to look your best when going to bed. Try to achieve a look that is welcoming without being obvious. If you need to apply face-cream or hair-rollers, wait until he is asleep as this can be shocking to a man last thing at night. It is likely that your husband will then fall promptly asleep so adjust your clothing, freshen up and apply your nighttime face and hair care products. You may then set the alarm so that you can arise shortly before him in the morning. This will enable you to have his morning cup of tea ready when he awakes.Have times changed???
I took slice of that from http://www.goofball.com/rants/INC20001023120730 Elders has is in his book. And I have used this "Home Economics" book clip in my own paper on the "Gender Gap."

Realist if you can so casually try to force the case that equality must be proven then that means that you think they are not? Please explain your question.
I tried to say that equality does not mean identical. But that does not seem to be what you are driving for. What is your point. (If you do not mind sharing)

WoMD ... so where are they?
by Simon innow, the war is over, the weapons were not used and of course have not been found.. how threatening could they be if they did not even use them when being invaded by a massive force (of the countries they hate)?!
perhaps, as many suspect, they didn't use them because they didn't have them?.
now we're being told that we'll have to be patient and give them time to find them.

Aba I would have thought a better argument than to compare the jw prediction of world distruction to the wmd issue. See there was real proof that Saddam a real person and not a ficticious detiy existed. He has used wmd in the past and most important was under UN santions. That you a man who I consider very intelligent can be so easily blinded to the point made that the scouring of Iraq will take over a year which has been said many times by laymen and professionals shows to me that the brainwashing is not the pro war (which is actually people who think that the Middle East needs the same help to get out of the mess that it created for itself that Europe needed 60 years ago) but those who are so blinded by ideolgical hate that you don't care. If this or one of the other threads were scoured I believe I said (and I'm sure others) that with all they whining that has been done at best people in intelligence will be hung out to dry. And that is what has happened. People are falling on their swords. I'm glad you all find it gloat worthy.
WMD? yes I believe that they still exist. All evidence shows that they still do. There is no proof that they were ever distroyed. Saddam has had wmd programs for 20 years why would he stop now? UN inspectors only work when the Nation is willing to disarm. Why is that so hard to understand? Oh yeah never mind many here DO NOT WANT TO UNDERSTAND! As I have said so many times my fear is that there are wmd like nuclear material that has escaped the country.
If it is true and Saddam pulled of the hoax of the century then thank god. And no it does not bother me that he is gone. And it does not bother me that France is being excluded from iol contracts (which they invested billion) and telecommunications contracts (which they are best suited to get.) Teach America a lesson guys put up some more hate threads here. I know all those propaganda peices make you all feel better.
Boycott Starbucks and Mcdonalds! You will sleep better and live longer. http://www.boycottamerica.org/ HURARH
Funny how this only is an issue when a very pro capitalism or (republican) president is in office. Any threads so vicous as these when Clinton bombed the Serbs? OR when he bombed Iraq? Did you secretly gloat when the US soldiers were killed in Somalia? Or, did you just not care? If you want to compare the JW's and this then think about how history is excluded from the conversation, "only talk about the here and now." The past has no bearing on this second in time because if you don't see the track record of Saddam's rule it gives my JW case some merit. If you exlude the murder and human rights violations done by the Saddam regime then there is kind of a point. If you ignore all the wmd evidence of the past, then not having them delievered to Bush via UPS has a case. Just like a dub trying to prove that they have the truth.

Well,
It's nice to know that this thread did not go on just because of me. Bowing out made no difference.
btw I'm glad that as "proof" has been shown that some 16 words the presidental address was based on faulty information. Yeah those 16 words were what did it for me.(((Off With Thier Heads))) This proves that the CIA gave and the President used faulty information, but weapons that were declared but no proof of their distruction never existed? No it doesn't It also proves that there was not a weapons program? No it doesn't. It shows the problems with a preemtive invasion to remove a horried dictator of a closed society who has caused massive wars over 20 years in a world of pasifists who do not care how many ragheads or jungle bunnies are being murdered or starved as long as they have their EZ chair, beer, and TV. Oh and a computer to cry out their frustrations to other frustrated people who are "fat dumb and happy."
