Tough day -- my mom died today
by cruzanheart inpoor thing, she's had alzheimer's for about 10 years and the last year she's been on hospice care because she's been so close to death.
the past few months she's been slowly filling up with water -- they gave her lasix (not sure of the spelling) to relieve the edema and it worked, sort of.
last weekend she actually looked a little better.

LittleToe's Travels - Feb 2005
by LittleToe inmuch has been posted about the recent superbowlfest, so i don't want to repeat too much, especially after the synopsis that country girl posted:.
http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/19/73156/21.ashx.
i was busting a gut at work so i could get there, hence my silence during the lead up to the fest.

There is something quite delightful about purchasing a sword, isn't there? I'm so glad I got to see you again. Maybe next time we have a chance to have a nice long chat.

Thank Someone...
by FMZ init can be anyone... on or off jwd, family, friends, a deity.
just think of someone that did something special for you, and thank them.
either post a note of your appreciation, or call the person and just say "thankyou for....." and let us know how it goes.

I want to thank FMZ for starting this thread. ((FMZ))
I want to thank Scootergirl for coming out of the woodwork. Dayum, gal...where you been? ((Scooter))
I want to thank Brummie for allowing me to be one of the biatches.
There really are a great number of people in our day to day lives that we should thank and acknowledge the impact they have on our lives.
Pay it forward. It comes back to you.

Funny you should post this here. I posted this very same thing some place else a few days ago.
