8pm your time is 10pm my time. I was just getting home with the groceries that Valis procured along with a gallon of milk, a loaf of bread and fresh fruits & veggies. Hell, I even saved $8.48 with my Kroger Plus card.
You don't realize what a thrill it is to open your icebox or pantry and see that you'll be able to put food on your table for your family this weekend. We must never forget the little things we take for granted like a roof over our heads and food in our family's belly.

I am overwhelmed by this outpouring of love and support from everyone here. I start to tear up everytime I think about it. Never let it be said that there is no goodness to be found in this old world. I'm here to shout it from the rooftops that there is a generousity and innate goodness in people.

I have a ProPay account that I run credit cards with for my MaryKay. I had a huge sale last week but that money went for the car payment.

And, as y'all know too well, that doesn't happen very often. I'm touched. Yes, it's true about the saltines and ranch dressing (it's not all that bad). There is some food in the house, but I've been saving it for when I have my son the next two weekends. You know, chicken in the freezer to fix. Box of mac and cheese for a side dish. That sort of thing. He's a teenage boy who has discovered his appetite. I was saving the meal type stuff for when he's here.

as many of you know, my son lives in colorado with the babymama.... ...and i can't take seeing him only a few times a year.... so, after this school year, i'm leaving my texas home.
i have a few prospects lined out in the denver area, and one will pan out for me.. i'll miss the texas apostate district, and all you fine folks that made me feel so welcome.
i wouldn't have gotten this far without you.. i'll visit though.
