Hi all
by AJN ini was a jw about 15 years ago and have been reading these forums for a while.
it took a long time to get over the fear of armageddon for sure.
my 18 year old is still a jw (we live at opposit ends of the world) and i have found your information really useful as i am preparing some kind of telephone 'presentation', as it were, regarding jw beliefs and the difference between jw and the other christian churches and what the message of jesus was.

Are we about to see history in the making with a reversal of doctrine?

The Pope & the Watchtower Org.
by JH inwhen we were jw's , we taught people door to door that the pope made himself mediator between men and god.
"mathew 23:10".
but now the watchtower does the same thing by telling the great crowd that jesus is not their mediator.

I think there is more similarities between the JW's and Catholic than we might imagine. I totally agree about the 'slave' putting themselves in the same position as the pope. Here is an excellent web site you might find interesting if researching this http://www.catholicconcerns.com/index.html#Home
