our daughter is six, and walks on her tippie toes.
we always find ourselves saying "walk on your feet!
i worry that this is going to ruin her ankles or her feet as she get older but we arent sure how to get her to stop.
Thanks for all the great advice guys, I think i will take her in to the Dr. just in case. She doesnt walk on her toes as much as she used to since we've noticed the problem and always say walk on your feet when we see her tip toe walking.
Codeblue...that is so cute..ok i know you told me not to laugh but...hehe

I worry that this is going to ruin her ankles or her feet as she get older but we arent sure how to get her to stop. Anyone have young kids that walk on their toes? Do you think its a big enough deal to take her to a doctor?

we all know that the wts continous to spew nonsense about "satan and his hordes" and how they are always on the prowl trying to attack loyal dubs and stear them away from the troof.
my parents are hard core dub zealots still very much in the org.my mom will not hesitate to toss an inanimate object in the garbage if she suspects that it is "possesed".
so when you left, how long did it take you to shake the fear of them big bad deeeemunz?
itsallgood,
It took me awhile before I could watch horror movies as well. No I watch them all the time and its no big deal. I still have catch up because I havent even seen all the Freddy and Jason movies! lol
are you a good keeper of secrets are are you a blabbermouth?.
has someone ever told you "you have to promise not to tell a soul!!
did you promise?
Oh man doublev! You didn't tell your husband about us did you??? I've kept it a secret!carmel
LOL!
I never MEAN to tell. I've never told a big secret - although some smaller ones (more surprises, I guess) slipped out because I just babble and things pop out! My husband always knows what gift I've got him before he opens it because I accidentally say something about it. We're a family who likes to plan little surprises (unannounced trips, etc) and I always spoil it!... but I've never slipped on a big secret. I do tell my husband everything, and anyone who tells me a secret knows that.
Yeah same goes for me, when I slipped on a secret it was a total accident because I would just be talking and then it would slip out. I dont think i've purposely told a really big secret.
I'm a very loyal person and when someone asks me to keep a secret I do, however it can really be a burden and now I'm not always willing to be the keeper of secrets, BUT I let them know in advance that I don't want to be told. It works for me!
Good point Bikerchic! If you do tend to let things slip, especially to the wrong people, it would be a good idea to warn the person who is about to tell you something confidential. Doodle-V

Well I find it hard to believe in an existence of spiritual beings. One thing I do know is that the WTS teachings about demons causes irreputable damage and unnatural fear especially to children. I don't think there are any demons running around possesing furniture in garage sales and targeting Witnesses like they teach. That is just plain silly, and unfortunately many people believe it. I was one of them. When I had nightmares as a little girl I would think the demons were attacking and would try to pray to jehober to make them go away.

I think it might be harder for married people to keep secrets, well for me it is anyway because im the kind of person that wants to tell my husband everything. That doesnt mean I cant keep any secret, just that its more difficult for me because I like to talk about and share my experiences with my spouse.
