how many of you quit school b/c of the religion?
another question - how many of you did not go on to college / uni b/c of the religion?.
do you regret it?.
I quit school b/c "the end was near" I know it was stupid. It was also because I couldn't handle life, so its not all on the society.
Anyways, I went back to school recently (real school - not GED), and got my high-school diploma with honors. I really really enjoyed it, and want to progress on. Any of you go back to school after the BORG?
I guess that they expect everyone to be janitors for the rest of their lives.
so i'm talking to an old mutual "worldly" friend of mine and my old jw best friend who's currently shunning me because i'm an unrepentant fornicator... (a fag) .
anyway, and he proceeds to tell me that she has been banging her boyfriend for quite some time now!
and she's in good standing with the cong.
None that harsh! But I am sure it happens!

i just laughed at the ms who freaked on me.
I remember watching TRAINS PLANES AND AUTOMOBILES with an elder, and we were pissing our pants laughing when his rental car was not where it was supposed to be - and complained to the clerk. (lots of swears). He was cool!

last night, as i mentioned on my last thread, i suprised my wife with a watchtower i had found.
well, we didn't want that garbage in the home, so i decided to burn it.. i was waiting to hear screaming and howling, to prove that is was demonic.
but, instead, it would not light.

I heard a story of a guy who burned his records, because they were "Demonic". THEY WOULDN'T BURN!!!!
Well, they prayed to Jah, and, lo and behold, it burst into flames.
Too bad they're brains were burnt, too.

Then, its time to go. It is my experience that alcoholics do not change. I am sorry to give you the news of what I think. You don't need to be treated as a doormat - no matter what faults you think you may have.

i went to the dealership to buy a car, but was turn down, no credit history.
i have tried to apply for credit cards, but been turned down.
To do what?
Buy a car? A few years. Buy a house? 5 years, USUALLY.
It really takes time.

Mkay - here it is, in my opinion.
Make an appointment to talk to a bank loan officer / whatever. Apply for a credit card, and offer to put ca$h down just in case you don't pay (what the hell do they call that??? whatever) That means that you have a credit card, but have cash at all times that the credit card company can take out just in case you do not pay your bills. OR, they will not require that guarantee...
Then, pay your bills on time - ALWAYS ON TIME.
Easy!
Sorry - you cannot just walk into a car dealership and get a car. Too many scam artists out there!
