  How Much Did You Donate?

  another member made an interesting post about if you ever "borrowed" from any monies that you collected in field service.. i think it would be interesting to find out how much $$$ did you, that is you donate in a given month?

  like, $5,10,15,20, or zero.... that would be to the kingdom hall fund and all!

  i have always wondered what other people used to do..... would be interesting to get some feedback on some old' elders, too, and what they found!

  I never did donate, either. It would be nice to crack open their books and really see what goes on........ that would be cool!

  Did you always turn in *all* your donation money?

  i went out in service for the first time at about the same time the "donation arrangement" was put into effect.

  i heard one or two brothers (when they were in 'safe' company) thinking out loud that if the money was really for the "world wide work"...that maybe it would be ok to use some of it, sometimes, to put gas in the car to go out in service (our congregation had some really poor people and our rurals covered 4 or 5 counties and hundreds of square miles).. i was wondering if anyone actually did that?

  i wonder if pioneers who were used to getting a price break kept keeping a percentage??

  given that your wts has frequently warned its members to stay away from the internet, and that bad association spoils useful habits, why is it that you persist in posting on this site, which is quite obviously populated by those that are disfelloshipped, disassociated, or, at the very least, spiritually weak?

  if you lived near one of the more vocal posters would you willingly be seen by your body of elders having a conversation with them?

  or, is it the ease of anonymity that allows you to be such a hypocrite and flaunt the rules of the organisation you pathetically claim to follow?

  Why even bother asking him... he will only ignore it now, and come back some other time to bore us with his rhetoric....

  I asked him that question point blank - wheather or not he knew that he was going to die at armageddon for talking to us. His reply? Nothing. He's chicken, and just wants to stir up poo!

  I kind of miss him, though... he sure got some topics going....

  your catch phrase

  so i'm sitting here at work and it just dawned on me that i use the same phrase over and over subconsciously.

  in my job i have lots of people that thank me on the phone and for some reason instead of saying "your welcome" (which i do use occasionally) i say "not a problem" or "no problem".. what is your little catch phrase that you subconsciously use?.
