It was. LONG ago.
And as others correctly point out, the issue is moot anyway. His mother was a US citizen -- he could have been born on Mars and still be considerd a US citizen.

HACKERS
by LV101 ini know nothing about hackers but overheard local radio commentator crediting hackers for information about the wikileaks saga and how he loves hackers and how they were responsible for the facts being released about scientology, also --- and many other matters.
why are they not helping us w/facts about how the watchtower is destructive/dangerous --- media coverage (more) would be excellent.
recall metatron posted how successful one man can be (referring to the wikileaks' incident) and it looks like hackers are the dream ticket.

The information given to wikileaks was stolen by some Army private while he was posted in Baghdad, not by a hacker.
btw, a "hacker" is not necessarily someone who is doing something wrong or evil.

Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 Winter Tires
by Simon inso, after 3 and a bit winters in canada i finally invested in a set of winter tires.
up till now i've had a good set of all-seasons (goodyear assurance tripletred) and they have been very good even coping with a sudden calgary freeze last winter that saw accordian buses sliding back down the hill we were on (scary!
) and general chaos on the roads.. but, driving on the deerfoot on solid polished sheets of black-ice in rush-hour traffic is not nice and you could feel the car getting more than a little vague at times.

So could one leave the Winter tires on all year? What would be the drawback, lessened gas mileage? And also someone mentioned they can be noisy on the pavement...
As someone else mentioned, the compound in winter tires is designed to stay softer in cold weather (so it can provide better traction). It would become very soft in the summer (depending on temperature) and wear out very quickly. In addition you may be putting your safety at risk. Don't do it. Likewise, running summer tires in the winter is quite dangerous.

This winter is the first time I've had anything other than all-season tires. I got winter tires pre-mounted on a set of rims along with TPM sensors direct from TireRack..... VERY happy with the selection, speed of delivery, and all that. I ended up getting studless Blizzak LM-25's as they have a Run Flat option.
I got them a couple weeks ago and put them on myself the other weekend. Since the tires came on their own rims, it wasn't too hard at all.
I LOVE the Blizzaks....traction is sooo much better than what I've had before with all-seasons. I have an all wheel drive car and it was pretty good with all seasons, but now it's a total monster in the snow. And being studless, they don't increase the amount of road noise on bare pavement at all from what I can tell.

No typos or grammatical errors ever????
by StAnn inseems to me that, despite the fact that the content of the wts literatrash is crap, i've never seen a typo or grammatical error in the lit.
anybody ever noticed this or ever found instances of errors?
and, if there are no errors, how do they manage that?

The only misspelling/typo I recall was from the first printing of the Greatest Man book. The ones they released at the convention misspelled "anointed" as "anoined."

Watchtower Library changed - is 2007 the last unchanged version?
by vivalavida inin this video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frcleoxkyu0 ) there is a very easy to follow explanation of how to prove with the watchtower library that their asertion that jerusalem was destroyed in 607 bce does not compute.. i tried to check it with a recent version of the cd, namely 2009, and the numbers are all changed so that it doesn't work now.
does anybody know if 2007 was the last unchanged version in this respect?.
and btw, what do you reckon of this blatant change again?.

Above I gave one example of how creation where each species is a result of independent creative act by God is demonstrably false. Not all concepts of creation can be disproven.
It is up to the one making the positive claim that something happened to provide evidence, not for a naysayer to provide contra-evidence.

Sure. Random mutation/genetic change coupled with natural selection. But any explanation or lack of explanation has no bearing at all on creationism. Creationism must stand on its own. We demand the same for evolution (ie, lack of evidence for creation is not evidence for evolution).

How do you know Creation is false as you claim?
Creation where God created each species individually? Demonstrably false. Exact DNA imperfections that are shared among humans and some of our ape ancestors, for example.
Creation where God started the initial spark of life and created the evolutionary process? I don't think anyone can disprove that.
But what you continue to fail to grasp is that the burden of proof lies squarely with the person making the claim, not the one who disbelieves until evidence is presented. You don't see "darwinists" demanding that you disprove evolution.
