by ButtLight injust reading a few of the da'd letters, it would just be so cool if they had to read them out loud when they announced it!!!!!!!

That's why I wish I sent my DA letter to everyone I knew rather than just the PO. No one knows why I really left. They all think I left so I could screw everything in sight.

Didn't Go to the Memorial
by Undecided ini thought about going to see how many of the old pub.
i would know at the memorial.
when the time came to get ready to go i had this feeling of anxiety so i just kept watching tv.

An Elder Told Me.... Many To Be Disfellowshipped Soon...
by Doubtfully Yours inan elder told me the book is jehovah's latest provision to cleanse his organization.. he said soon all people that have drifted, inactives, and others baptized and not complying with the biblical mandates for a jw, will be visited and given an option to shape up or ship out.. he said that if the person refuses the help offered by the congregation they'll be notified of the date of disfellowshipping and given time to appeal the decision.. he was so happy stating that this way jehovah's organization was preparing for the final clean-up before armageddon.
he sounded so convincing that it almost made perfect sense what he was saying.
i got goose bumps listening to his reasoning.. dy

A comment I heard tonight
by Generic Man intonight i heard one of the most cruel and twisted comments i've ever heard at the platform.
the topic was the apocalypse and whether or not children will be slaughtered.
through one side of his mouth, the po stated that the bible is not clear on the matter, while out the other side he pointed to all those old testament accounts where children were killed.

The refusal to disclose a matter doesn't prove that the person "doesn't know himself".
In a court of law, evidence that is not presented is not considered. That's a no brainer. You can't expect to be taken seriously when you claim to have evidence of something yet refuse to disclose it.
As far as children being destroyed at armageddon goes, doesn't the bible say that children are not to be held responsible for the transgressions of their parents? Destroying children at armageddon would contradict that.
Besides, if JWs truly love their neighbors as they claim, they should consider it a privilege to care for any orphaned children whose parents have become like "manure on the surface of the ground." I would have.
