he said that if we take time to argue or disagree with someone at the door then our guardian angel is already waiting at the next door with out us.
basically what this does is train us to flee from anything that may conflict with what we are trying to teach or anything that we may believe.
to stay at the door and .
our guardian angel is already waiting at the next door with out us.
Is this new light? When the JWs first studied with me they taught me that people didn't have "guardian angels". Are they starting to adopt some Catholic teachings?
To stay at the door and try to reason for over a couple of minutes would be something frowned upon by the Angels and Jehovah.
I take that to mean the "reasoning book" has been ineffective, or he would be encouraging people to use it.
What does he think? That householders will simply accept what the JWs say without question? How stupid! No one who has a life will alienate their current family and friends without questioning what they're getting in to. So it shows what type of people they're looking for.
Or maybe they realize there will be no growth from the "field", and they're just trying to keep their current members so busy that they don't have time to research their own doubts.

i bet many had their wives make it...... .
when i joined the jw's, i didn't know how to make a tie knot, and still don't.
i guess that if i tried, i'd look like this below.... .
I never had a problem tying the knot, but when I was a JW I looked forward to the resurrection so I could put the inventor of the tie in one of these.

..like the english.. most brits use slang and colloquialisms as part of their everyday life.
even jw's use the less offensive terms.
i was surprised that many americans hadn't heard of the term "loo" before.
How To Speak English....Like the English.
Translated: How to make yourself unintelligible.

if you could choose your very own addition to the 10 commandments, what would it be?
Thou shalt send me $$$$.
Walter
i mean seriously, most of us have been inside for a number of years.
so during all this time did you ever see happy person or a family or were you ever truly happy there, even for a brief period of time?
if you were happy, when was it?
I don't think it's possible for a JW to be truly happy. They are trained by the society to criticize other religions, governments, and people who are not JWs, always finding fault with them. They even find fault with their own members who are considered "weak".
People who are overly critical of others cannot possibly be very happy.
Walter
.
does anyone have this mag i english?.
then please type for us the question for paragraph 10 page 19. it's amazing in norwegian...
Jehovah?s spirit can help us to comprehend even difficult subjects?but only through the WTS which tells you that anyone outside the organization cannot have access to God?s spirit.
Even within the organization only the Governing Body have access to God's spirit. Everyone else has access only to their publications.

i am going to try and explain this with out dragging this on so here goes, i am the youngest of four sibblings,i have a older brother which i never see and two older sisters.
i am close to my sister that is close in age to me but have a sister that is about ten years older.
when i was a teen my dad killed himself and the mother was a 24 hr mean drunk who after my dads death was committed to a nut ward.
Go see her, lean over and whisper in her ear to tell her what an asshole she is.
Walter
.
i hear and read alot about peoples experiences and some are pretty horrendous....does anyone actually feel they have benefited from being a jw at least in one way or another...me personally i feel i benefited from the ministry school as public speaking is part of my job and has definately improved career prospects?.

I learned that "bad associations spoil useful habits". That means I should not associate with an organization that tries to convince me to hate others.
Walter
i heard today that brothers who volunteered at assemblies were only accepted on the proviso that they were "brothers in good standing".
i also heard that anyone reproved or df'd might have to wait for 3 to 5 years before being allowed to clean the gent's loos as a volunteer.. is that right?
what other things are held back from folk who aren't quite up to the mark?.
.( Translation: since you are a single divorcee you must doubless be h***y and this will keep you from rutting in the parkinglot.)
That sounds sooooooo much better than serving slop.
