Obviously the penis belongs to the vagina, that is something fundamental to the way God has made us.
I agree with this gentleman, the vagina should be put on like an overcoat.

in our local evening paper the bishop of carlisle was quoted as saying that homosexual acts, anal and oral sex and sex outside of marriage are signs of demon posession and proof positive of demon activity in the world.
he also said that miscarrages can bring demons into the world, as can abortions, those with mental illnesses or longstanding medical conditions that don't respond well to treatment could be possesed of a spirit, as could those who constantly wear black or repeatedly buy black cars.
i was reminded of those told by christian elders that they may havr allowed satan in due to some activity or occurence of depression.

you are only responsible to jehovah for believing what the society teaches.
only the society is responsible to jehovah for error taught, not individual witnesses.
where is this written by the society?
Dear Gary:
Yes I well remember the principle you speak of, but try as I might I cannot recall where it is written. I think it was back in the early 70s when the society was saying quite often how Armageddon was coming soon, that unquestioned obedience to congregation elders could mean our very lives. How failure to obey resulting in our loss of life would leave us accountable to Jehovah. There were many articles at that time requiring elders to be certain they could back up any counsel with scriptures, remember? Seems to me it was back around 72 or 73, and most likely a Watchtower article.
Of course they no longer require scriptural backing for counsel nor even disfellowshipping, as I was given the boot from an Our Kingdom Service article. Anyway, as traumatic as it was they did me a favor. I shall search tonight and see if I can locate what you are looking for, but I think it is worded differently than you state.

i don't mean an epiphany, necessarily--although that does count.
i mean, what books came along and just changed the way you look at things.
still life with woodpecker (tom robbins).
Must have taken my father (an avid reader) two full years to get through Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee. He kept putting the book down and staring off into space, unable for days to pick it up again.
Some twelve years ago I read it myself and I've not forgotten the things I learned. I'll never trust the government again.
Russell Means' Where White Men Fear To Tread was another. Broke my heart. And I am not Indian, but white.
Crisis of Conscience though was the greatest. That book set me free of twenty-nine years of slavery, and probably saved my life. I am eternally grateful to its kind and gentle author.

im leaning more and more towards a fully gifted creation.
i think god is so wise that when he first began "this" universe that he endowed it with tremendous organization potentiality, that would not require him to step in and guide it or help it along to produce intelligent life.. look at how scientist tell us all the elements are made in the stars, though nuclear fusion suns not only give us light and heat but also produce more complicated elements.
physicists tell us of wonderful self organization on the atomic and subatomic level.
D Wiltshire:
". . . suns not only give us light and heat but also produce more complicated elements."
I see in your post a man of heart. And I am in agreement with you.
Tell me, what do you think of this:
Psalm 19:4
"Into all the earth their measuring line has gone out. And to the extremity of the productive land their utterances. In them he has set a tent for the sun, 5 and it is like a bridegroom when coming out of his nuptial chamber; it exults as mighty man does to run in a path. 6 From one extremity of the heavens is its going forth, and its (finished) circuit is to their (other) extremities; and there is nothing concealed from its heat."
I don't know as this can be proven scientifically, but it is accurate, it is poetic, and there is more understanding between its lines than in the sum of its words. I don't believe the Bible was written to be proven in a scientific way, as much as to be felt in the heart. To lead men of heart into the very knowledge of God.
These are my personal findings, others may choose to argue or disagree, it matters not; for we are here today and gone tomorrow.

so the good news will start now...... some of you may remember that i stumped my mom http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/51940/1.ashx.
anyway here is the update.
i went on vacation but my mom to my knowledge did not pick up coc and read it.
To JH:
If 587BC is the right date, doesn't this just bring the generation 20 years closer? So in a way, it's as if we would be in the 69th year of the generation of 1934 instead of the 89th year of the generation of 1914.
Maybe the witnesses should accept this as new light. It would buy them 20 more years...
Might seem this way at first glance, but the Watchtower has based the fulfillment of the composite sign spoken by Jesus to have begun in 1914; the outbreak of World war I, Spanish Influenza, et cetera. If they lose 1914, they've lost it all. Albatross
when i got home from work last night my son was there and i was suprise to see him because it was meeting night and everyone else was gone.
then his mother comes in hmmmmmm "did your son tell you what he has done?
" nope well he has been having sex with his girlfriend the baptized pioneer elders daughter yikes my son (not baptized) and her were girlfriend and boyfriend untill her daddy stop them from seeing each other.
I wouldn't let you or your albatrossy advice within 3 miles of any teenager I know.
Yet scripture says if a man lies down with a virgin, he must marry her.

I am 60 and have four adult children. I cannot help but think of the lasting effects this will have on your son (as well as the girl), for I well know the lasting effects of the sweetheart I used to slip out from the school dances to walk in the woods with. Eventually we were doing a lot more than walking. And we knew nothing about safe sex.
I have found there is an emotional bond that comes with surrendering your virginity, whether you are a man or a woman. A bond which if not honored I believe diminishes self-respect. The older I get the more I think of those walks in the moonlight, and the more I wish I had told everyone to got to hell and pursued that girl, for I have found none (and there have been way too many women in my bed) who loved me as purely as she.
If my son did what yours has done, I would take him aside and tell him if he loved this girl, if she is in his heart, to do the honorable thing and step up and take her for his own. Be a man son, and don't let anything in this world get in your way. If her father stands in your way circumvent the man, if you can't, then stand up to him and tell him you love his daughter and you are going to be with her come hell or high-water.
And if the bastard moves her out of state to some relatives home far away where my son could not get to her, that is something the father will have to live with. Virginity is here for a reason. The emotional bond that takes place when we give it with love is here for a reason too. I believe we are meant to have only one mate forever. I know, I've had far more than my share. None, though they were exciting and had us zooming around the moon, were like the first. The first was clean and pure and sweet, the stuff of which life is made.
Dad, what do you think?
i was reading an article (from another thread) on the adventist history of jwism, and pondered these couple of sentences.
"....distributing the society's literature from house to house.
by 1927 this door-to-door literature distribution had become an essential activity required of all members.
"unremitting series of attacks against government, against Prohibition, against "big business," and against the Roman Catholic Church."
Bizarre indeed!
Hasn't the Watchtower become every one of those things they hated? Become a "government in themselves?" Who on this earth is more "prohibitive" then they? Have they not also become "big business?" And where are the differences between the Watchtower and the "Roman Catholic Church?"
Twenty-nine years a slave to this deceptive organization. How my heart hurts to think of the faces of those I studied with and brought in; and others who saw me as someone strong, and came privately with doubts, who I opened my heart and encouraged, who later came to thank me, even touching me and not letting go, looking at me with eyes filled with gratitude. And how good I felt. Even with my eyes open and the Bible right in front of me I couldn't see the deception. Well I sure see now, and I don't feel so good any more.
Some of you folks are so loving and encouraging. Your words have done me a lot of good. There is a world of pain here too. In my heart I have both. I'm a little nervous, but it's good to be here.
