by Fe2O3Girl inas some of you on the board knew i was expecting a baby, i feel i should let you know that things have not worked out for us.. when i went for the 20 week ultrasound scan last thursday, severe problems were found with our baby's internal development.
only one kidney was detected, and it was very enlarged and polycystic.
there was no long term hope for the baby at all; if it survived to full term it could only live for hours at most.

Its a girl
by mouthy inmy 11th great grandchild was born at 9.13 pm tonight 8lbs 30z by natural childbirth her name will be tavia melanie legg.
mother & baby is doing well- great granma is totally exhausted.....

JW reaction to the UN coverup

I talked to my dad about this a while back, and showed him the letter that was printed on the UN site. He said it was a fake at first, but I managed to convince him otherwise at which point he said he wasn't bothered about it. He looked pretty suprised when I said that the witnesses in Malawi who were persecuted for not being able to join a political organisation were probably pretty bothered about it.

i remember the day becaue i was quite angry with my parents.
their continued attempts to take my kids to the meeting and give them litterature was really getting to me.

When they are shown all the problems in the organisation, such as the child abuse being hidden, being a member of the united nations, failed propheceys, ect, Jehovahs Witnesses often reply that despite all these things they know jehovahs witnesses are gods true organisation and they are sticking with it. Do you think the jews said something similar to the first century christians?

Strange disfellowshippings!
by AK - Jeff ina few years back a 'sister' in our hall was df'd for marrying a disfellowshipped man.
they were both free to remarry 'scripturally' - in their late-middle years of life.
i asked one of the local pharrasies why?

Who would be so stupid as to go and tell the elders what 'you've been up to' when you're courting.
My ex, and this was even after her mother had told her that no matter how bad, some things were best kept between her and Jehovah. She told me she'd just got back from telling the elders everything, so I rushed off to see my local elders because I thought it would go better for me if I confessed rather than them being told by others. I got df'd and she got found to not have a case to answer.

Were there ever any complaints from the KH's neighbours?

i have heard from one neighbour of our local kh that there is a lot of traffic/speeding out of the kh etc etc.. were there any complaints from the neighbours about the local kh?

good guess....but nope.It is a date though...
The alarm code at my parents hall is 2520. I wonder how many halls have 1975 as their code.......... Just before I was df'd the hall I was in had a quickbuild, and there was a few complaints from the neighbours. The woman directly across from the hall decided she would rather sell her house than live next to a kingdom hall.
